(Clearwisdom.net) Our Fa study group started in 2006. I joined it without enthusiasm since two of the four group members were illiterate. Juxiang (alias) stayed in school for less then two years. She was older, had a bad memory, and had forgotten all of the words that she had learned. She dared not read. What a pity if she could not read the great Fa that Master bestowed upon us. We encouraged her, “Read, read slowly. We will tell you any word that you do not know.” She began to read. We listened to her patiently, corrected her when she got it wrong, and cheered for her when she made progress. Sometimes, when she read aloud, I sat beside her and read quietly. Juxiang can now read all by herself, and her xinxing has been improving.
One day she fell from a high place while she was posting a truth clarification message. Her forehead and eyelid were injured and bleeding. We relocated the Fa study group to her home and sent righteous thoughts to eliminate any evil for her. Her wound soon healed without any medical treatment.
Li Jia (alias) obtained the Fa in 1996. Since her husband and son worked out of town, she worked as a housemaid in the homes of others. She went back home the year before last when her house was being remodeled. To help her maintain her cultivation, we advised her to join the Fa study group. Shortly after she joined, she was hit by a motorcycle and her sister took her to the hospital while she was in a coma. She had a dream while she was hospitalized. She fell into an abyss and grimacing devils were everywhere in this dark and endless hole. She longed for someone to pull her up. We visited her, inspired her to look within, sent righteous thoughts, and encouraged her to put faith in Master and the Fa. She cleared up her confusion and said, “Master gave me hints in a dream. The evil saw that I would be diligent in cultivation. They then tried to take my life by controlling the driver to hit me. Master is still looking after me. I will never leave Dafa or practitioners.” She started right away the process of being discharged from the hospital. Her doctor and family were all against it. Her doctor said, “There is blood congestion inside your skull. The surgery is scheduled in two days. If you leave now, the consequences are unimaginable and we are not responsible for it.” Li Jia firmly replied, “I will not ask for your responsibility. My Master will take care of me.” After she was released from the hospital, the practitioners went to her home to study the Fa with her and sent righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil for her. She recovered in a week.
As time passed by, the group had more than ten members. We had an experience sharing on World Falun Dafa Day. We revised our schedule after discussion. We would have group Fa study sessions in the afternoon on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, instead of Monday to Saturday. The time we set aside would be used to save beings.
Li Jia worried that she might hinder others' efforts because of her lack in the skill of clarifying the truth to strangers face to face. Every day after she went home, she knelt before Master's picture, pressed her hands together in the heshi gesture of respect, and said: “I do not know how to clarify the truth. What should I do? I want to save beings, too. Master, please help me.” She would study the Fa afterwards. She soon knew how to do it. Master saw her sincere desire of saving beings and helped her. She is grouped with others, actively working in the city and countryside, and does not have any fear. She is very good at encouraging the Chinese to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates.
Sister Ma is a veteran practitioner. Her husband has a long-term illness and was in need of care. She took care of him as well as their grandson since her son and daughter-in-law both worked. She shopped, cooked, did laundry and other household chores for her big family. She walked with a limp because of leg pain. She knew that Dafa was good. She persisted in studying the Fa and doing the exercises, and never took any medicine. The practitioners showed her kindness and brought her Master's new scriptures. Through reading the scriptures, she learned the principles that a true practitioner must follow, along with doing the three things well. After she joined the group study, she stressed Fa study. During group study, she read diligently and listened attentively. After she went home, she used all her free time to read the Fa, and she improved quickly. At the beginning of face to face truth clarification, she only sent righteous thoughts and wrote down the names of people who quit the CCP. She now talks to people passing by directly to encourage them to quit the CCP. She does that not only when we go out as a group but also when she is alone. She goes everywhere in the city and countryside with practitioners. She walks miles without getting tired and her legs do not get tired.
Sister Chen, 70, is a highly respected elder. Her four sons all have their own manufacturing businesses out of town and they are all very successful. Sister Chen repeatedly turned down her sons' invitation to live with them. She wants to stay home alone so she can concentrate on cultivation. We do our group study in her home. She offers practitioners cold tea and electric fans in the summer, sets out sitting cushions for us in winter, and turns on more lights when it is dark. We often say, “We come for cultivation practice, not to enjoy life. Sister Chen, you take care of us in every possible way, and make us feel ashamed.”
Although she is illiterate, sister Chen quickly learned how to clarify the truth face to face. She has strong righteous thoughts. One day, we clarified the truth around the railroad station. We came across a young man on one side of a steel bridge. We chatted with him and learned that he had been laid off at a fertilizer plant. He hated the corruption of the CCP, and quickly agreed to quit it and accepted our truth clarification pamphlet and letter.
As we just passed the bridge, sister Chen saw an officer stationed in the watchtower pulling out his cell phone. He was about to dial. Sister Chen immediately said softly, “Your cell is broken. The call cannot go through.” That call indeed did not go through. The office then sent a former practitioner to follow us. When he caught up with us, he said directly, “Do you have Minghui Weekly? I want it. I am a practitioner, too.” “No,” I said. I did not trust the stranger. “Is your materials site still operating?” He exposed his intention. I said, “How do I know? I heard that karmic retribution will follow if you tear town a Falun Dafa poster. So when someone passes it to me, I will pass it to others.” He left with disappointment. It was sister Chen's timely thoughts that saved us and the materials site. We have been cooperating well.
One day, we went to a farmer's market. I suddenly heard a cry, “Quick, here is a Falun Gong practitioner.” I turned back and saw sister Chen sending righteous thoughts. She gave amulets to several motorcycle taxi drivers and the drivers became tense like facing a powerful enemy. I walked over to them and said, “What's happening? Let me take a look.” I took an amulet from a driver and read loudly, “Falun Dafa is Good.” “Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance) is good.” “You shall be saved in disaster.”
I then told the drivers and bystanders, “There are so many natural and man-made disasters nowadays. This older lady is cultivating kindness. She treats you like her children and grandchildren, and wishes you safety. This is such a good thing. Do you want it? Give all of them to me if you do not want them.” The young man in front of me listened to me and carefully read the flyer. The others also took out the flyers and read them. No one said that he did not want it.
We cooperated well with each other, eliminated such false alarms one after another, and disintegrated persecution from time to time.
Our Fa study group is the oldest one in our region and has the most members. All practitioners in the group are improving their xinxing through group Fa study.
The group Fa study really is a good environment for us to ascend together.
