(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Ding Wenbin from Shehong County, Sichuan Province was recently arrested and his home was ransacked. Mr. Ding suffered serious illnesses prior to his practice of Falun Gong and lost the ability to work. After he began practicing, he regained his health. However, he was arrested for spreading information about Falun Gong.
Mr. Ding was distributing information about Falun Gong around 7:00 p.m. on December 29, 2011, in a residential area. He was arrested by the county 610 Office agents and officers from the Chengbei Police Station. They took him to the Chengbei Police Station.
At 11:00 a.m. the next day, four agents from the county 610 Office led by Deng Dingyong ransacked Mr. Ding's rented residence and took away his Falun Gong books, DVD player, a cell phone, an MP3 player, and other personal belongings worth 1,000 yuan.
Mr. Ding suffered from arthritis, asthma-bronchitis and other serious illnesses prior to practicing. He lost the ability to work, and his family led an extremely difficult life. After he started practicing Falun Gong in 2006, all his illnesses disappeared, and he was able to work again. With help of his relatives and kind people, he bought a non-motorized tricycle and made a living as a pedicab driver in the county town. Since he arrest and detention, his family is once again in a dilemma, because his wife is in poor health.
