(Clearwisdom.net) Lately I have been working on collecting phone numbers of perpetrators of the persecution, published on the Minghui websiteChinese version of Clearwisdom), to provide to fellow practitioners who make truth-clarification calls. As I was working on it, I was rather shocked! I compiled 18 pages of phone numbers from the content of just three days on the website. These were only the available phone numbers – there were likely many more.
I wondered, “Why is there still so much persecution at the final stage of Fa-rectification? How could this have nothing to do with me? Are there any cultivation factors that I should be aware of? Are there attachments I need to remove?” I started looking inward.
I thought about my attitude towards reading news from China published on Minghui. When I first would read the news, I was shocked by the severe persecution cases. Very soon, I became indifferent. I also felt that I couldn't do anything with the information and that the persecution was happening so far away. In fact, this attitude was a type of selfishness. Selfishness was getting in my way. Once the persecution was not directed at me, I was indifferent and numb. How was my indifference any different than that of ordinary people's? How could my state be that of a compassionate cultivator? When I shared this with a fellow practitioner, she became alert concerning this issue as well.
We are Dafa disciples. How can we be indifferent about the persecution? Then, what should we do? We should send truth-clarification letters, make truth-clarification calls, or send truth-clarification text messages. But these are all just external things. We also need to truly look inward.
If when we see such information, our first thought is to eliminate the evil factors in the area of the persecution and behind the persecutors and evil specters that persecute Dafa disciples and interfere with salvation of the world's people, then once this thought is out, the collective strong righteous thoughts of Dafa disciples will disintegrate the evil in that area like a sharp sword. We should eliminate the evil once we see such persecution information, once we think of the persecution.
Master said in Zhuan Falun: “In fact, let me tell everyone that matter and mind are one thing.” If we send forth strong righteous thoughts, the impact is the same as truth-clarification phone calls and messages. In addition, the impact of righteous thoughts is more long-lasting and thorough. Then how can the persecution sustain itself?
Master said: “Send righteous thoughts, and rotten demons explode.” (“What's to Fear?” in Hong Yin Volume II)
I enlightened to the understanding that it is not only the Dafa disciples who are being persecuted that should have strong righteous thoughts. Each of us needs to be righteous, because we are one body. If we can treat the issues of each Dafa disciple as our own, we will feel the persecution just like those who are being directly persecuted. Then we try our best to eliminate the persecution factors and form an indestructible one body. What else can the evil do then? The persecution will cease to be.
