(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Xiang Li was illegally arrested and detained recently by Domestic Security officer Feng Weidong and others. During her arrest and detention, Feng Weidong slapped her face several times. The police also bribed a doctor to falsify Ms. Xiang's medical records so she could be transferred to the Jinzhou City Detention Center. Ms. Xiang has since been released. Below, in her own words, is a description of the persecution she endured.
I started to cultivate Falun Dafa in 1998. After I started my cultivation, my body and mind were purified and I no longer had any illnesses. I understood then that the purpose of one's life was to think of others and help others. I also learned the principles of how to be a good person.
On July 21, 2011, police officers Wang Ning, Liu Haizhi, Zhou Hualai, Yang Lixue, and Feng Weidong from the Domestic Security Division of the Yi County Police Department, Liaoning Province broke into my home and arrested me. This was the tenth time that I had been arrested by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) personnel.
At about 8:00 a.m., Wang Ning, the political instructor from the Domestic Security Division in Yi County, and deputy captain Liu Haizhi, together with almost all the police officers in the division, came to break into my home. I was the only person at home at the time.
Wang Ning arrived with a camera in hand, intending to take photos of me as soon as he entered my home. I refused. He then slapped my face fiercely. Feng Weidong is tall. As soon as he entered my home, his head hit the door frame. Zhou Hualai told him, “You've received karmic retribution.” I followed his words, “You received karmic retribution because you are persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners.” Feng Weidong heard what I said and came over to beat me.
The police then dragged me into their vehicle and took me to the Domestic Security Division at the police department. On the way there, I continuously shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa!” After arriving at the station, the officers carried me upstairs. They were too afraid to open the door. Finally, they had to drag me down to a dark room on the first floor, where they handcuffed me to an iron chair.
During the whole process, I repeatedly shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" I also clarified the truth to them and validated the Fa. I did not cooperate with them when they tried to get a so-called "confession" from me. My right wrist still has a deep scar from the handcuffs.
After being held at the police station, I was transferred to the Jinzhou City Detention Center. In the police car on the way there, Feng Weidong slandered Teacher. When I asked him to stop, he beat me. I was first taken to the Jinzhou City Hospital. I didn't cooperate with the doctor for the physical examination. I also told the doctors and nurses to remember that Falun Dafa is good. Feng Weidong did not allow me to speak. He used my clothes to cover my mouth and slapped my face again. I said loudly, “You are a hooligan. Police officers should not beat good people!”
The police finally bribed the doctor to falsify my medical records. Actually, they did not perform any physical examination on me at all. After the police dragged me back to their vehicle, Feng Weidong brutally slapped my face for the fourth time.
When the police vehicle arrived at the Jinzhou City Detention Center, I refused to enter the prison cell. The police wanted to leave. I stopped Liu Haizhi and Zhou Hualai and did not allow them to leave. They dragged and carried me to room 701, on the second floor of the detention center. After I entered the room, the guards from the detention center wanted to put the prison uniform on me and attempted to force me to do slave labor. Since I did not cooperate with them, they handcuffed and shackled me, and locked me to a bed frame for three days.
When I protested their inhumane treatment and refused to wear the prison uniform, another inmate named Guo, who shared a cell with me, led a few prisoners to form a circle around me, where they attempted to beat me. I shouted loudly, “I am a Falun Dafa disciple. Who dares to touch me!” Under the strong power of my righteous thoughts, they all withdrew. I told them that I would not be there much longer and that this place could not constrain me. That same night, under Master's compassionate protection and with fellow practitioners' strong righteous thoughts and my family's efforts, I returned home safely.
