(Clearwisdom.net) Two practitioners were captured by police over a month ago, as they were distributing flyers and clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in the marketplace. The officers also collaborated with people from the local police station and municipal State Security Bureau, and sent the practitioners to a detention center.
The practitioners' families immediately went to ask for the release of the practitioners. Other practitioners also expressed care and concern, but since we were not well coordinated as one body, we posted only a small article online regarding the arrest. About two weeks later a practitioner wrote an article to further expose this matter. The main coordinator did not get involved in the rescue effort until we were ready to put up posters with the exposure material. We were then told not to post anything because someone heard that the police were ready to release the two practitioners the next day. We had forgotten that the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) never fulfills their promises. We were not thinking from the perspective of the Fa, so we were deceived and interfered with. When it was later learned that the CCP had not released the two practitioners, we were again notified to put up the posters. Once the posters were up, we heard feedback from everyday people that, “The poster was unclear as to who was illegally arrested.” Since we didn't adequately expose the evil, the effort was not successful.
The coordinator later asked us to send forth righteous thoughts near the detention center. However, the weather that night prevented most of the practitioners from showing up the next morning. We then heard from the detainees family members that they were going to be sent to a forced labor camp, and that the families would be allowed to see the practitioners in three days. Our first thought was to completely deny this news. Later we went on to organize all local practitioners to send forth righteous thoughts for a second time. This time some of the practitioners did not receive the notification. The rest of us sent forth righteous thoughts. The detained practitioners were not released, nor was there any further news.
This situation forced us to examine ourselves. In the beginning, although we did put up posters and send forth righteous thoughts, there was a lack of coordination. Our hearts were not in it, therefore the results weren't good. Many practitioners subsequently started to look inward, and they realized we were not listening to Master. We were not treating the concerns of fellow practitioners as our own concerns. When we first heard the news of the arrest, some practitioners first looked for loopholes in the practitioners who were arrested, asking, "What were their attachments that they were not letting go?" They were not thinking from the perspective of the Fa. One of the practitioners who was arrested was very diligent in cultivation. Every day she clarified the truth to people face to face and gave out Dafa materials in the marketplace, or on the streets, wherever people gathered. She even clarified the truth face to face with police officers and judicial system personnel. She was arrested while doing Dafa work in front of the government building with another practitioner. The other practitioner was arrested first, so she went into the government building three times to demand the immediate release of her fellow practitioner. She did it in a righteous and upright manner. From her, we learned what letting go of one self and completely thinking of others really meant. This practitioner’s actions enlightened us. We decided to give it all we had to rescue the practitioners.
Fellow practitioners from nearby cities and towns also joined us in the rescue effort. We studied the Fa together and shared our understandings. Master taught us,
“As you realize, with the many projects that Dafa disciples have initiated in order to counteract the persecution, clarify the truth, and save sentient beings, what is most important is that Dafa disciples cooperate together well, and that only when people work together well will things go well.” (“Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa”)
We realized that the process of rescuing fellow practitioners was also a process of doing the three things Master has taught us to do, and it was also a process in which we could cultivate ourselves. The situation we were facing was a big test to the entire body of practitioners in our city.
Once we realized and corrected our understandings, we decided to start over. We first intensified the efforts to disclose the evil. We disclosed the personal information and social connections of the police officers and everyone else involved in the persecution. Some practitioners went out to do research and collect information, and some spent long periods of time sending forth righteous thoughts to dissolve the evil elements and enhance the energy field of our fellow practitioners. Everyone worked day and night and worked as one body. Just as we finished collecting all the information, we heard the news that the two practitioners had returned home in a righteous manner.
When I heard this news, my eyes filled with tears. I truly experienced what “one body” meant and what result we could get if we worked together. I looked up and shouted, “It is true that ‘cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master’! (Zhuan Falun) Thank you Master!”
In fact, everything during the process of Fa-rectification is within the control of Master. Master has prepared the best things for us. The only thing required of us is to elevate our xinxing under the guidance of the Fa. As long as practitioners’ xinxing levels are elevated and we work well together, the situation will change immediately and everything will run smoothly. I am determined to solidify my faith in Master and in the Fa, and become more and more diligent in cultivation until the day I finally meet Master.
