Additional Persecution News from China – August 30, 2011 (15 Reports)

(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 6 provinces. In this report, 9 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 15 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Mianyang, Sichuan Province] Ms. Su Nan Persecuted

Ms. Su Nan was sentenced to three years in prison in 2000. She was injured both physically and mentally because of the torture she endured. In 2008, she was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for two and a half years. Soon after she was released, the police ransacked her home again and took away her computer, printer, cell phone, Dafa books, pictures of the founder of Falun Dafa, cash and other items. During the arrest, Ms. Su tried to escape and jumped from the second floor, causing her left leg and left foot to fracture. The police went to monitor her during her hospitalization.

2. [Zhongjiang County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Shurong from Longhuai, Cangshan Town Arrested on August 23, 2011

3. [Hegang, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Aicheng Persecuted

Mr. Zhang Aicheng was a former director of the Xingshan District Party and Politics Office. He was sent to a forced labor camp twice because he practices Falun Gong. Later on, the Party Secretary of the Xingshan District Politics and Law Committee did not allow him to work. He was only given a 400 yuan allowance per month.

4. [Yingkou, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Lirong and Five Other Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Desheng Police Station in Xishi District rushed into the home of Ms. Wang Lirong, who was lighting off firecrackers at home on the night of August 23, 2011. The police arrested Ms. Wang Lirong and five other practitioners on the spot, including Ms. Yuan Yuqin, Ms. Qin Yuling, Ms. Li Chunping, Mr. Hou Wenfei and Ms. Tan Yinzhen.

5. [Lingyuan, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lou Caihua Sentenced to Six Years in Prison

Ms. Lou Caihua was arrested in February 2008 and sentenced to six years in prison. She is being detained in the eighth division of Liaoning Women's Prison.

6. [Taiyuan, Shanxi Province] Mr. Ren Xiaoqing Taken to a Brainwashing Center

On August 27, 2011, Huang Anzhu, Chief of the Public Security Section of the Shanxi Automobile Transportation Group, Inc., led many policemen to the Jinlongjietai Transportation and Business Company, Ltd. and took away Mr. Ren Xiaoqing, who was working the night shift. Mr. Ren was sent to the brainwashing class which is held in the Xindian Men's Forced Labor Camp in Taiyuan.

7. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhou Shujun from Yubei District Recently Arrested by Plainclothes Policemen

8. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Recent Situation of Mr. Yan Shoulin and Ms. Yang Chumei

Mr. Yan Shoulin is being detained in the Dalian Forced Labor Camp for a one-year term. Ms. Yang Chunmei is being detained in the Fushun Brainwashing Center.

9. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] Ms. Dai Fengshan Arrested

Ms. Dai Fengshan was taken away from her home and her home was ransacked on August 8, 2011. Her whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Fuxin, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Shuxiang Arrested

Ms. Zhang Shuxiang from Chengnan, was taken away from her home by Zang Wancai and Jiang Yongcai, from the Taiping Police Department and Li Gang from the Chengnan Police Station, on August 22, 2011.

11. [Liaoning Province] Guards in Liaoning Women's Prison Torture Practitioners

In the Liaoning Women's Prison, guard Chen Xiaolian shocked Ms. Gao Manli's face and body with an electric baton. Guard Li Dan tortured Falun Gong practitioners many times. She shocked Ms. Wang Jinping with an electric baton until Ms. Wang passed out, then dragged her to a bathroom and poured cold water on her to wake her up.

12. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhao Qiang Taken to the Nongjiale Brainwashing Center

Mr. Zhao Qiang works in the Five-Nine Institute of Chongqing. Personnel from the Security Section and the Neighborhood Committee deceived him into leaving his office on the night of July 14, 2011. Mr. Zhao was taken to the Nongjiale Brainwashing Center in Baishiyi.

13. [Chongqing] Ms. Yuang Chunyuan Sent to the Tieshanping Brainwashing Center After Two-Years' Forced Labor

Ms. Yuan Chunyuan was released on August 22, 2011, after two years of forced labor. She was taken to the Tieshanping Brainwashing Center in Jiangbei that same day.

14. [Huludao, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Xiuyan and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Li Xiuyan and her husband Mr. Han Boli, were taken to the Huanggong Police Station in Huludao on the night of August 29, 2011. Their home was also ransacked.

15. [Lanzhou, Gansu Province] Ms. Du Yanrong Persecuted to Mental Collapse in Gansu Women's Forced Labor Camp

58-year-old Ms. Du Yanrong is a retired employee of the Gansu Army Cadre Center. She was detained in the Gansu Women's Forced Labor Camp. As a result of persecution, her lumbar vertebrae fractured and she also suffered a mental collapse. In the forced labor camp, more than ten detainees surrounded and insulted her every day. They forced her to write words that defame Falun Dafa. Ms. Du was also forced to stand for a long time, until she passed out.

The forced labor camp notified Ms. Du's family on January 18, 2011 that they could visit her. When her family members arrived in the camp on January 21, 2011, Ms. Du was bedridden and her vertebrae was fractured. She could not even sit up. The camp claimed Ms. Du fell and hurt herself. Her family members then carried her back home. She could walk after she was hospitalized for two weeks in March 2011
