(Clearwisdom.net) From the end of 2004 to August 7 of this year, over 100 million people have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations in a great wave inspired by the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. To support people doing this for the public good and to encourage more Chinese people to awaken, on Saturday, September 3, 2011, together with local people, Falun Gong practitioners from German cities such as North Rhine-Westphalia and Heidelberg held a march and rally. The European Divine Land Marching Band, composed of more than 100 Falun Gong practitioners, also came to help.

The parade started in Cologne's Cathedral Square, and proceeded down more than a dozen streets crowded with people, including Sign Street, the busiest shopping area.
The novel style and beautiful costumes of the Divine Marching Band members and the music they played during the march attracted passersby all along the way. Some people captured the procession with their cameras, some had tears in their eyes, some applauded, some joined the parade, and still others asked for information. Among them were not only local Germans and tourists from other countries who came to visit Cologne Cathedral, but also Chinese students and Chinese people who were in Germany to visit their relatives and friends.

the CCP and its affiliated organizations and to call for an end to
the persecution of Falun Gong.
Overseas Chinese Scholar: Quitting the CCP and its affiliated
organizations has become a great, spiritual trend
Dr. Xu Pei, a German Chinese scholar, spoke at the rally. She gave examples of her own experience in which her visa to China had been rejected twice by the CCP in 1996 and once in 2002, after which, she could not go back to her homeland to visit her parents and relatives.
Mr. Zhong Weiguang, a famous Chinese scholar living in Germany, sent his comments: “The number of people who have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations has reached over 100 million. Please carry on. Persuading Chinese people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations is the undertaking of the majority of Falun Gong practitioners! I have witnessed and experienced this. Those who have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations are accumulated one person at a time; it is real and the result of their dedicated efforts.
“I have made known their positions on the website to quit the CCP more than once for my friends in China and their friends, who have clearly stated their hatred for its tyranny and their desire to break away from it. They either used their real names or posted anonymously. They said with one voice: 'No authority, but a human life! The Communist Party is a genuine evil!'
“The number has now reached over 100 million. Today, quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations has become a great and spiritual trend. Marxism, which has had a cancerous effect on history, declared a half century ago: 'The specter of Communism is hovering over Europe.' What we have seen now, however, is that a huge tide to abandon the dictatorship of the Communist Party has already been generated both in China and all over the world, and it is spreading! And we have seen that this trend is connected to Chinese traditions, the best pursuit of human heritage and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. And this has created a solid foundation for the future.”
A Chinese person from the mainland who is staying in Germany: I do admire Falun Gong practitioners
On seeing the parade and the Divine Marching Band and hearing the music, a Chinese family of three could not help but be excited. After hearing the facts clarified by Falun Gong practitioners, they were so moved that they took pictures of every banner and every scene and kept saying, “This is ery exciting!”
Having been told that there would be a Falun Gong parade and an appearance by the Divine Marching Band in Cologne, a doctoral student from China came to Cologne from another city, a journey that took him three hours. Out of curiosity, he wanted to see the parade. After hearing the facts clarified by a practitioner, he was very pleased to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. He also very much agreed with the principles of Falun Gong, saying, “If most people in China believed in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance as you do, China's social security will certainly be good. People don’t need to be controlled—they can control themselves. The biggest problem of Chinese people today, I think, is that they have no faith and no moral standards, so they can commit bad deeds without being seen.”
He followed the parade and took photos. He appeared passionate and excited. Before leaving, he left his contact information and kept saying, “I do admire Falun Gong practitioners.”
The rally, during which many Chinese people were willing to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, ended at 5 p.m.
