Introducing Falun Gong to the public
Since the Chinese Communist Party launched the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, local practitioners have set up a booth at this annual fair every year, telling people the truth of Falun Gong and exposing the brutality of the persecution in China. Many people have learned about Falun Gong at the fair. Some people see the practitioners' booth every year. The policemen at the fair also know that practitioners set up a booth every year. Once, another group came early to the fair and took up the space assigned to practitioners. A police officer told that group that Falun Gong would be there in a moment. When practitioners got there, the officer said: “See, they are here now. They come every year.”
Haldane is a new Western practitioner. He comes to the booth to help every weekend. He said that he has benefited from practicing a lot. At the beginning, he only paid attention to doing the exercises. Later, he learned that a practitioner should look inward when conflicts arise and forbear when faced with challenges. Now, he is developing the heart of benevolence, trying to help others. He thanks Master Li Hongzhi for giving him the chance to cultivate and experience the power of Falun Gong.
