(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Mingxia was arrested by Jiangan County police and the 610 Office on June 18, 2008. She was transferred to Changan County Detention Center later, and secretly sentenced to a three-year prison term.
When her term ended on June 18, 2011, the Yibin City 610 Office took her to the brainwashing center at the Yibin Airport Senior Center. During the brainwashing session she was physically assaulted. She could no longer stand, her body shook, and her eyes were swollen closed.
At the end of the brainwashing session, police tried to forced her to write a repentance statement, demanding that she state that practicing Falun Gong caused her divorce. Actually, her husband, whose family name is Chen, spread this lie when he divorced her. Ms. Liu refused to write the repentance statement and has not been seen since.
