(Clearwisdom.net) During the Fa-rectification period, Master has required Dafa disciples to do the three things well: clarifying the truth to sentient beings, studying the Fa well and doing the exercises, and sending righteous thoughts. Having participated in many truth-clarification activities in different forms, I had an insight that clarifying the truth during large-scale activities is one of the most effective ways for us to offer more sentient beings salvation.
This year I attended the Washington, DC Fa-conference. When we did the exercises in front of Capitol Hill on July 15, our group and the harmonious atmosphere attracted many tourists. They watched us doing the exercises and took pictures. However, on both sides of the site where we did the exercises, there were only two or three practitioners handing out materials and clarifying the truth; one of them was an older practitioner. With so many people around, it was difficult for the practitioners to speak with everyone. People still kept coming and asking for materials. The practitioners were so busy that they were sweating profusely, but they weren't able to handle the situation all by themselves. When I saw this I became worried, but because I was standing in the front, I was afraid that if I left, it would affect the overall uniformity of the group. Meanwhile, I also worried that since I didn't speak English very well, I couldn't communicate with those Western people effectively. As a result I didn't leave the group, but stood there and watched many sentient beings losing their opportunity to hear the truth. I felt bad later on when I reflected on the situation.
Actually, the effects of clarifying the truth during large-scale activities have been quite good. When Dafa disciples have a celebration or commemoration activities, or when we have a rally or group exercises, those are all excellent opportunities and places for us to clarify the truth. During these activities, the organized Dafa group and harmonious atmosphere influence the people who are watching. We all have very strong energy in us; when we are together, the energy is much stronger. This strong energy field inhibits bad elements and eliminates evil factors in sentient beings. At this time, people will accept our informational materials and patiently listen to us clarify the truth. Even those individuals who had negative opinions about Dafa in the past usually accept the materials. Many people even ask for materials or come to talk to us. When we clarify the truth to them at this time, the results are much better.
