(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Xuezhu was previously very healthy. He made his living by riding a flatbed tricycle, to support himself and his mother who is in her seventies. Before the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials from Jingyu County harassed, arrested, and registered Falun Gong practitioners. On April 24, 2008, the police arrested Mr. Wang and confiscated three computers, two printers, one VCD player, and one set of satellite TV receivers. He was detained for more than eight months and then secretly sentenced to four years at Shiling Prison, located in Siping City. He died in custody on May 22, 2011.

Mr. Wang's family rushed to the prison, but he was unconscious and emaciated, and he did not regain consciousness before he died. It broke his mother's heart to see such a healthy young man die a wrongful death.

Starting in 2004, four other practitioners have been tortured to death at Siping Prison, including Mr. Wang Dianren (see http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2010/6/1/117552.html), Mr. Dong Fengshan (see http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2009/2/22/105032.html), Mr. Pang Shikun (see http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2009/8/24/110286.html), and Mr. Yu Lianhe (see http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2010/1/31/114275.html).

Guards tortured practitioners who refused to give up their faith by using torture methods including punching and kicking, slapping, being hanged by handcuffs, being locked in a small cell (1); beaten with a wooden stick, rubber baton, wooden board, metal stick, triangle belt, or plastic tube; electric shock by multiple batons, penis pinched, penis pulled, broomstick inserted into rectum, forced to eat chili peppers or horse radish, etc.

Tortures re-enactments: Tiger bench, brutal beating, dead person's bed, electric baton shock, stretching bed, hung by handcuffs, force-feeding through nose, iron chair, unknown drug injection, violent force-feeding, being shocked/beaten with electric baton

Guard Li Haifeng and prisoner head Han Jingjun watched over the first ward where Mr. Wang was detained. In late 2008, Mr. Wang mentioned some of the torture facts in a letter home, and this letter was confiscated by Han Jingjun. Han accused Mr. Wang of telling on him, and thought that it would make him lose face. In order to scare the other prisoners, Han forced Mr. Wang to stand in the middle of the cell, while Han slapped him hard. This mistreatment caused blood to saturate his clothes.

In March 2009, Mr. Wang mentioned in his periodical report that the cell head was a bully. After that, Han Jingjun beat him for more than one hour. For two days, Han beat Mr. Wang while using an electric baton, in late September 2009. The guard was Li Haifeng.

Note:

(1) The detainee is locked up in a very small cell individually. The guards handcuff practitioners hands behind their backs in a fixed position, in which they can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no sunshine comes in. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in small cells during the daytime. During the night rats run about. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe.
