The Story of Uncle Xue

(Clearwisdom.net) Uncle Xue is from the Northeast of China. He is frank, honest, friendly, and a good talker. We heard that he had had some unique experiences when learning Falun Gong, so we interviewed him. He received us warmly.

"I came from the countryside when I was young. I started up a construction team, working in the construction field. Many decades have passed, and I am over sixty years old now, but I am very healthy, even healthier than I was in my youth. This is all because I practice Falun Gong."

He told us how he started to practice Falun Gong. Although it was over ten years ago, he is still very touched by the experience.

"It was the Spring of 1995. I led a construction team working next to a Falun Gong practice site. An assistant of the practice site introduced Falun Gong to me, and told me that I would become healthy if I could follow the principle of Falun Dafa: Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. He said 'Money and wealth did not come with you when you were born, and will not go with you when you die. Come to practice.' He gave me the book Zhuan Falun. I was very busy at work at that time. I did not put much effort into learning. I tried to learn the exercises once, but didn't get it, and just left it like that. Afterward, I noticed that it tasted bad when I tried to smoke. I found it strange. Now I realize it was because Dafa had already had an impact on me."

Talking about it now, he regretted that his enlightenment quality was bad at that time. All he knew about was making money; he did not know to treasure Dafa and this cultivation opportunity. His next experience changed his life, and he started to cultivate.

"In 1996 I led a construction team working next to a highway. One day, a taxi rushed towards me while I was crossing the highway on my bike. I rode very fast and did not see the taxi. We collided. The bike and I were knocked into the air over the taxi. I fell on the highway, and passed out. The driver was very scared, and sent me to the hospital. After thorough examination, they found that I was only lightly injured but they did find three tumors in my brain. This was a major blow for me."

Then he was hospitalized. Before long, a patient with the same illness who lived in the same building passed way. He was very disappointed, and knew he could not live much longer. He just wanted to practice Falun Gong, and did not try to get anything from it, or cure his illness. An assistant near his job site whose family name is Yang helped him.

"I started to practice just like that. I learned that Falun Dafa teaches people to become good. Zhuan Falun is a book to teach people how to cultivate and reach higher levels. I hate myself for not starting it sooner. My body was purified by Master, just like it said in Zhuan Falun.”

"Some people could even have diarrhea or throw up." (Zhuan Falun)

"A small number of people might even fall asleep, and then they’ll wake right up when I finish talking. Why does that happen? Because there are diseases in their heads, so they have to be adjusted. There’s no way people could stand having their heads adjusted, so you have to anesthetize them. They don’t know it, though. But for some people the hearing part doesn’t have any problem. They sleep soundly but they don’t miss a word, they hear it all, and then they’re alert, and some of them don’t get sleepy even if they go a couple days without sleep." (Zhuan Falun)

“This situation happened to me. I started to sleep a lot, and then I did not want to sleep for several days after I woke up. The tumors in my brain disappeared. My other illnesses, like bone hyperplasia, urinary calculi, cholecystitis, gastritis, and herniated lumbar disc all disappeared. I really experienced the wonderful feeling of being free of illness."

Uncle Xue is full of gratitude towards Master. Master saved his life, eliminated his illness, and taught him how to become a good person who is responsible to others and society. His way of thanking Master is to listen to Master and follow Dafa to cultivate himself well.

"In the Spring of 1997 I started a business selling fish. An old man who does wholesale gave me 700 yuan extra. I turned back right away when I realized it. I told him that he had made a mistake. He thought I wanted more money, and was not happy. I told him 'You gave me 700 yuan extra. I am a Falun Gong practitioner, I can not take this money.' The old man cried, and said 'I am taking care of the stand for my nephew. I have trouble just feeding my family. I really do not know how to thank you!' I also found money lost by students and returned it to them. I have experienced many things like this over the years."

Uncle Xue remembers Master's teaching, and follows Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He also experienced several dangerous incidents during which he was protected by Master.

"On February 12, 2011 a huge dump truck parked in the middle of the road. The driver's cabin was very high. I was walking next to the dump truck, pushing my bike. When I tried to pass in front of the truck, it suddenly started to move forward. I was knocked down, and the truck kept moving. Just then, a force dragged me out. The bike was crushed. I ran to the driver's cabin and knocked at the window. The driver finally noticed me. He jumped out of the truck, saw the crushed bike said, 'You are very lucky'. I said, 'I am a Falun Dafa cultivator. My master is protecting me. Otherwise I would be dead today.' The driver gave me some money to repair the bike."

Uncle Xue improved his health and moral level, and has gained a new life through practicing Falun Gong. Facing the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, Uncle Xue stepped forward with firm resolve to tell the government and people that Falun Dafa is good, and that he, himself is a testimony of that. He just wanted an end to the persecution and the reputation of Master and Dafa to be restored. He was detained and sent to a labor camp, where he was brutally persecuted.

Uncle Xue came back home after several years at the labor camp. He started to pick up Dafa books and continued to tell people that Falun Dafa is good, and also to ask people to quit the CCP. He knew this was to save people, not just to safeguard Falun Gong's reputation. Humankind is facing a great disaster. People's thoughts towards Dafa will decide their fate. He wanted to disclose the CCP's lies and let everyone know the truth of Falun Gong.

"Every time I meet people, I want to let them know from my heart that Falun Dafa is good.' The CCP persecutes Falun Gong. The CCP has killed 80 million Chinese. Heaven will eliminate the CCP. Please withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations to have a safe future.' Some listen to me, some said I lied. I told them 'Nowadays there are people who deceive you to get money. Is there anyone who would risk his life to deceive you into being safe? I do not want anything from you. I just want you to be safe.' Some shake my hands and say 'Thank you, please protect yourself.' Some said with tears in their eyes 'You are good people. I quit the CCP.' Tears come to my eyes, too, when I see that they know the truth and can be saved."

Uncle Xue cries because he is grateful to Master, and cries because he has compassion for sentient beings; he cries because he is happy that people can be saved after quitting the CCP.
