(Clearwisdom.net) On June 2, 2011, Tangshan Domestic
Security Division police arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Peng
Xiaoyun, then broke into her home and confiscated her computer,
printer, and other items. They then went to her son’s home and
confiscated two new computers and other items.
When her son tried to visit her in the detention center, he had
500 yuan extorted from him. However, they still refused to let him
visit his mother, claiming that the power was out.
Ms. Peng's son went to the domestic security division and asked to
visit his mother. After the guard communicated his request to
officials, he informed him that his request was denied. As her son
stood at the entrance, the guard took his picture with a cell
phone. Her son told him to stop and said, “You're committing a
crime,” but the guard continued.
After the guard made another phone call, several police officers
arrived. They started taking pictures of him, then attempted to
take him away. He objected, saying, “I haven't broken any law. My
mother practices Falun Gong. She hasn't committed any crimes
either. They broke into our home and stole our three computers.
Now, I've asked to visit my mother, but they refuse to let me in.”
One officer said, “They should allow you to visit your mother.
There's a rule that allows you to visit. They also broke the law if
they stole items from your home.” This officer made several phone
calls trying to negotiate with Public Security Bureau officials.
However, they replied that the director was not available, and that
they had to wait for a month to investigate the computer theft
complaint.
Peng Xiaoyun Benefited from Practicing Falun Gong
Peng Xiaoyun was married in 1983. At that time, her husband earned only 20 yuan a month. She, her husband, and their son led a thrifty life. To save some money for their son, they opened a small street-market booth and sold fruit and other items. Several years later, unfortunately, she developed leg pain, dizziness, heart problems, excessive sweating, stomachache, and back pain. She was truly miserable. She also had a neurological disorder and often gave her customers extra change. She didn't want to spend money on medical treatment. Although she tried several different qigong methods, her condition didn't improve.
In 1996, Ms. Peng started practicing Falun Gong. Three months later, all of her illnesses were cured. She became very energetic, as if she'd never been ill.
However, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in 1999. The community committees, police departments, and public security bureaus nationwide harassed practitioners daily, often until midnight. As a result, Ms. Peng was unable to study the Falun Dafa teachings or practice the exercises as before. Consequently, her heart disease recurred and she experienced severe chest pain. At that critical moment, she asked Teacher for help. Later, she vomited a hard, purple substance the size of a chestnut. Her health completely recovered. She was very grateful for Teacher's compassionate salvation.
Ms. Peng’s husband passed away last year; she now lives with her
son.
