(Clearwisdom.net) Noon on June 25, 2011 marked the beginning of the annual “TAKEPART Brighton & Hove International Festival of Sport” in Preston Park in Brighton and Hove city. Local Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the festival, as is previous years.

The sport festival is organized by the Brighton and Hove city government, National Health Service Brighton Branch, and many local organizations. The purpose of the event is to help the residents to find their favorite fitness activity.
The Falun Gong booth provided free introductory materials about the exercises, location and schedule of local exercise groups and printed materials about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Visitors were also pleased to receive colorful handmade paper lotus-flowers from the practitioners.

Mr. Firle and his daughter sign the petition condemning the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong.
Within a few hours, several hundred people signed the petition forms. Mr. Firle and his daughter were two of visitors who showed their support. He said that the Chinese Communist Party has no excuse to persecute a peaceful group like Falun Gong. He was shocked to learn that the Chinese Communist Party is also harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners to sell for profit. He said he would learn more about it and share the information with his friends.
