(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of July 11, I met a middle-aged lady on my way to Fa study. As we walked along together, I hoped to broach the subject of Falun Gong. The traffic was a mess due to the road work, so I kindly reminded her to watch out for the cars. She said, “True. I live nearby. These last few days, not only are cars making so much noise, but there are lots of firecrackers as well. It is like a festival.” I said, “Do you know why?” She asked, “To celebrate the start of some building construction?” I said, “No. I heard it is because the Asia News TV in Hong Kong and some foreign news agencies made the announcement that Jiang Zemin has died or is dying. This is exciting news, so everyone is buying firecrackers and lighting them to celebrate. It's said that the firecrackers are almost sold out. Maybe we should go buy some and set them off to get rid of the evil.”
The lady asked, “Is that so? How come people hate Jiang Zemin so much?” I answered, “Actually, he has committed huge crimes. After he came into power, he gave away 1.5 million square kilometers of Chinese territory to Russia, about the size of three Northeast provinces of China. He later admitted, 'Indeed it was a big crime.'” Then I recounted for her a number of abuses of Jiang's regime and the loss of 80 million innocent lives under Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leadership over the years. In this vein, I described the importance of quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Because China's problems are largely moral and spiritual, I stressed the life-saving importance that she quit the Party. I told her about the discovery of the rock in Guizhou Province with the inscription, “The CCP collapses.” I surmised, “Surely, this is a wake-up call in the hearts and minds of those who would believe.”
As for quitting the CCP, I told her that, since heaven only cares about the sincerity of one's heart, it made no difference whether one used one’s true identity or a nickname. I told her that, with calamities befalling society on all sides, she would be blessed to remember the words, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” The lady was quite moved and agreed to quit the CCP then and there.
I then told her that Falun Dafa is practiced in over a hundred countries throughout the world, and there have been countless miracles experienced by Falun Gong practitioners. The founder of Falun Dafa, Mr. Li Hongzhi, has received many proclamations. He wants the disciples of Dafa to be unselfish and save as many people as possible. I told her how practitioners in China risk their lives to tell people the facts about Falun Gong to save them. I added, “Many of my relatives are also Dafa practitioners. All of them have benefited tremendously from Dafa, with many incurable illnesses healed. No only that, the communities in which they live have benefited from their spirit of service to help their fellow man.”
I told my new friend, “There is a good pre-destined affinity between us, so I have shared all this with you today.” I ended by saying, “It has been a pleasure and I hope that you will tell your friends and relatives about this, too.”
She said, “I will. You are truly genuine, indeed!” With warm regards, we parted ways.
I believe that regardless of whether Jiang is dead or dying, either is very good news. “Firecrackers” have turned out to be a good talking point to urge people to quit the CCP.
