On July 6, 2011, Zhang Jun, secretary of the Dongjiuzhai Town Political and Judiciary Committee, and several other officers broke into Mr. Zhao Jingjun's home and ransacked it. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and other valuable personal belongings.
Mr. Zhao was previously arrested on July 6, 2008, and served a two-year term in a forced labor camp. He was released in 2010. In 2008, his wife, Ms. Yan Guoyan, was taken to a brainwashing center by officers from Zunhua City 610 Office for hiring a lawyer for Mr. Zhao. She was held for more than eight months until she developed high blood pressure, a heart problem, and other illnesses as a result of the persecution. The authorities told her family to take her home and ordered them to pay 7,000 yuan for her meals.

3. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Many Practitioners Taken to a Brainwashing Center
A brainwashing center is being established in Lushuihe Town, Baishan City. The related government unit of Baishan City set a quota for each town within its jurisdiction. Beigang Town was given a quota of nine. On the morning of July 6, 2011, the Beigang Town police went to practitioners' homes and arrested them. Mr. Sun Chengdao and Mr. An Fengjun were taken to the Lushuihe Brainwashing Center. Ms. Song Weixiang escaped. The attempt to arrest practitioners continued on July 7.

4. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] More Information about Mr. Tang Jiwen's Arrest
Mr. Tang Jiwen was sentenced to three years in prison by Taihe Court and later sentenced to five and a half years in prison by Liaoning Province High Court. He was taken to Jinzhou Prison and the prison authorities refused to admit him because he had heart problems. Mr. tang was having a judicial identification in Jinzhou Central Hospital on July 8, 2011 in order to get him released on medical parole. He is weak and needs support walking.
5. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zi Shuying and Ms. Lan Shuhong Taken to a Brainwashing Center
On the morning of July 7, 2011, a group of officers from Xuling Town Police Station went to the homes of Ms. Zi Shuying and Ms. Lan Shuhong in Yangtun Village and arrested them. Ms. Zi and Ms. Lan were taken to the Fushun Brainwashing Center. The center authorities refused to admit Ms. Zi because she didn't pass the physical.
Among the practitioners from Guangmingshan Town who were arrested on June 21, five of them were released. They were: Ms. Zheng Heqing, Ms. Lu Guirong, Ms. Xiao Guiying, Ms. Wang Mingchen and Ms. Jiang Ling. Ms. Zhai Jing and Ms. Wang Xiuli are still detained.

On June 15, 2011, the Anping County Court tried Ms. Wang Xiaolia, who is handicapped and had aleady been detained for more than eight months. The court did not inform the practitioner's family.

On July 7, 2011, officers from Chongli Police Department took Mr. Wen Kuan to a brainwashing facility inside the Yaojiazhuang Police Station in Zhangjiakou City. His family learned his whereabouts one day after he was missing.

10. [Yanggu County, Shandong Province] Mr. Yang Kaitao Harassed
Tang Tao, head of the Yanggu County 610 Office, and other officers went to Mr. Yang Kaitao's home on approximately June 19, 2011. Mr. Yang wasn't home at the time. They waited outside his home that morning and evening. Mr. Yang didn't show up, so they arrested and interrogated Mr. Yang's eldest son, Mr. Yang Xianhui, who was visiting from out-of-town.
11. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] More Information about the Arrests of Ms. Xiong Guizhen and Ms. Ji Jianxia
Ms. Xiong Guizhen and Ms. Ji Jianxia were arrested on February 26, 2011. Ms. Ji was sent to a forced labor camp to serve a one-year term. Ms. Xiong was released after being held for more than a month. Not long after that, the police told her to come and take her computer back. She has not returned and her current whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Zheng Baozhen is being held in the No. 3 Ward in Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp. An inmate, Liang jiongwei, deliberately pushed Ms. Zheng down. Ms. Zheng's head hit the ground and she couldn't walk as a result.

Three officers from Hanting District Police Sub-Bureau and Nansun Town Police Station arrested Ms. Jin Shuqin at her home on the morning of June 27, 2011. Ms. Sun Yuqing, who had been detained since May 30, was taken to Weifang City Detention Center. The police took Ms. Jin and Ms. Sun to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp to serve a one-year term. Ms. Jin's family requested her release and Ms. Jin was released on July 4.

On July 8, 2011, officers from Qiaodong Town Police Station arrested Ms. Wang Jinyu from Baizhuang Village and Mr. Li Hailiang from Houlilou Village and ransacked their homes. Ms. Wang and Mr. Li are being held at the Qiaodong Town Police Station.

On the morning of July 7, 2011, officers from Mengyang Town 610 Office and Mengyang Police Station arrested Mr. Zhang Guofang at his home and took him to a brainwashing center.

On the morning of July 4, 2011, officers from Yangguanlin Police Station arrested Ms. Pu Yuzhen, Mr. Zhu Guotai, and several other practitioners at Ms. Pu's home in Shifolin Village. Officers then took them to the Fengrun Police Station.

23. [Xianfeng County, Hubei Province] Elementary Schoolteacher Ms. He Guanglian Arrested
Ms. He Guanglian, a teacher from Xianfeng County Experimental Elementary School, was arrested by officers from the Xianfeng County Domestic Security Team in mid-June, 2011. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. He was previously held in Wuhan Women's Forced Labor Camp, where she suffered physically and mentally. After she finished her term of one year and two months, she was released in January 2010.

Mr. Xu Jianhua, an employee of Pengshan County No. 2 Middle School, was arrested by officers from Pengshan Domestic Security Team and Pengshan Police Department on the evening of July 7, 2011. His home was ransacked.

On July 7, 2011, officers from Baijia Town Police Station, Shuangliu County, Chengdu, asked Ms. Deng Chunrong to have a physical in a local hospital at noon the next day. Ms. Deng didn't go. At around 3:00 p.m. the next day, Wang Yubin from the Baijia Town Police Station and other officers went to Ms. Deng's home and harassed her.

27. [Chongqing] Ms. Gong Debi Arrested
Ms. Gong Debi from Anju Town, Tongliang County, was arrested. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
28. [Chongqing] Ms. Wu Sulan Arrested
Liu Tinglan, an employee from the Caijia Town Justice Office, called Ms. Wu Sulan from Caijia Town in the Beibei District, asking her to come to her office. She then arrested her on July 6, 2011.
29. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Transferred to Yangmahe Prison
Ms. Su Lijuan, Ms. Feng Juan, Ms. Cheng Donglan, and Ms. He Xianzhen were sentenced and held in the Xiaomiao Detention Center in Xichang. They were transferred to Yangmahe Prison in Jianyang City on June 30, 2011. Ms. Wei Huirong and Mr. Zhao Jun are still being held in the Xiaomiao Detention Center.
30. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Liu Guihua, who lives in Erqi Community in the Jiang'an District, was arrested at her home on the afternoon of July 7, 2011. Ms. Guo Ruihong and Ms. Dai Xiaomei, who were visiting at the time, were also arrested.
31. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Shuping Taken to Hexing Brainwashing Center
Ms. Li Shuping, in her 60s, is from the No. 1 production team of Guangxing Town, Guanghan City. She was working in the field on July 4, 2011. Chen Yulan, the Party secretary of the No. 1 production team, and officers from Xiangyang Town Police Station asked a child to go and get Ms. Li from the fields. The police then took her to Hexing Brainwashing Center.
Ms. Huang Haiyan, Ms. Li's daughter, was sentenced to three years in prison in 2008 for speaking with people about Falun Gong. She will be released this year.

Ms. Jiang Guizhen, 72, is a retired professor from Yunnan University of Technology. On the morning of July 7, 2011, she was reported for speaking with people about Falun Gong and handing out DVDs in Daguanlou Park. She was arrested by officers from the Daguanlou Police Station. The police confiscated many pamphlets and DVDs about Falun Gong. Ms. Jiang was beaten and injured.
That evening, officer Huang Shaozhi and Ye Liaoyuan, employees of the security division of Yunnan University of Technology, ransacked Ms. Jiang's home at the Yunnan University of Technology and confiscated a printer, a camera, a camcorder, and other personal belongings.
33. [Yuxi City, Yunnan Province] Mr. Hou Weidong Detained
Mr. Hou Weidong, 45, was reported and arrested for speaking with people about Falun Gong and handing out DVDs on Daying Street on the evening of July 5, 2011. He is being held at the Yuxi City Detention Center.

Ms. Jiang's mother is in her 80s and has nobody to take care of her.
37. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Pang Yujuan's Experiences of Persecution
Ms. Pang Yujuan, 67, is retired from the Liaoning Province Geological Bureau. Ms. Pang was arrested by officers from Xinglongtai Town Police Station for distributing pamphlets about Falun Gong on March 26, 2002. She was beaten by officer Yang Bin. The officer later had her sit on the cement floor and handcuffed her hands to a metal bed. Ms. Pang began a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was force fed by infusion on April 19, 2002. She was sent to the An'kang Hospital on April 27. She was in critical condition and was released.
On March 3, 2010, Ms. Pang and Ms. Jin Yinzhi were arrested for distributing pamphlets about Falun Gong in Wangjia Village, Huangjia Town. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated computers, printers, Falun Dafa books, and other personal belongings. Duan Qingzhu, an officer from the Domestic Security Team, interrogated them. About ten days later, Ms. Jin was taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp to serve a one-year term. Ms. Pang was sentenced to three years in prison with a four-year probation. Officers from the Tiaodeng Town 610 Office in the Dadukou District had been going to Ms. Chen Shiping's home often to harass her since the beginning of 2011.
