(Clearwisdom.net) On July 16, 2011, Falun Gong practitioners in Jakarta, Indonesia gathered in front of the Hotel Indonesia traffic circle fountain near the Chinese Embassy in Jakarta, and held a series of activities to call for an end to the persecution that has lasted for 12 years. They also supported the nearly 100 million Chinese people who have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

At 3:00 p.m. practitioners held banners reading in Indonesian “Stop persecuting Falun Gong”, “Good will be rewarded and evil will meet with retribution,” and other messages, drawing the attention of passengers in vehicles and passersby. A number of media outlets, including Rakyat Merdeka and Kompas.com covered the event.
