(Clearwisdom.net) Yesterday when I visited Minghui.org, I was at first very happy to see Master's new article. But as soon as I clicked on the link and found that title of the article was, “What Does it Mean to 'Help Master Rectify the Fa'?” I felt a little sad. I have the feeling that Master is giving us a stick wake-up warning. After I finished reading the entire article, I realized that Master is indeed anxious for us to improve, with words of impression and affection. Oh, Master, we have made you worried for us.
As Dafa disciples, who didn't know that we should “help Master rectify the Fa” and who didn't ever say it? It's something we say all the time. But why does Master have to specifically teach the Fa on this issue now? From the principles Master taught us in the past, we know that if it is an issue in general or problems of several individuals, which didn't affect the whole, Master would not talk about it publicly. Since Master has taught the Fa on this particular issue and published the Fa, it means the situation is very serious now. It shows that the progress of Fa-rectification has come to this step, approaching to the very end. If Master doesn't clearly point out the problem and correct it, perhaps many practitioners will not be able to pass this stage, and in the end, cannot be saved. Won't our wait and reincarnations over tens of millions of years then be in vain?
Our current situation is like a college student who is about to graduate, but the teacher still feels compelled to give specific and earnest instructions on the most basic questions, such as why a student needs to study hard or why a student needs to finish his homework, etc. Does this mean the teacher worries too much or is it that the student just doesn't measure up to the expectation? After studying Master's new article, I felt so ashamed, nervous, and uneasy. Revered Master is not only giving us a “stick wake-up,” but is also earnestly and kindly providing guidance and opportunities for us to keep up. I asked myself, “What is helping Master rectify the Fa?” Honestly, I felt I was at a loss, and I don't have a clear answer! It has now become obvious that whenever we mentioned or talked about “helping Master rectify the Fa,” we were most likely treatit it as a grandiloquence, and we were simply repeating what other people said. I didn't take it to heart and didn't relate it with whether I was truly and solidly cultivating myself. It's the same problem as not taking the Fa into our hearts while studying the Fa.
Master's new article is not long, however, my heart was heavy after studying it. Last night when I went out to do something validating the Fa, I kept asking myself, what does it mean to “help Master rectify the Fa”? While I did the sitting meditation in the evening, I was thinking about this issue the entire time and I could not calm down. Even when I went out to clarify the truth to people this morning, I was still thinking about this issue. After I got back home, I read Master's new article again and I finally had some understandings, so I wrote this article to share my understandings with fellow practitioners.
In order to truly understand the issue of “helping Master rectify the Fa,” from the Fa's perspective and thus do it well, in my opinion we first need to solve the issue of believing in Master and the Fa. Who can't say “I believe in Master and the Fa?” However, casually saying it is not equivalent to cultivating. It's very easy to say it, but this doesn't necessarily mean we have cultivated ourselves well and truly really believe in Master. I think we should at least have two thoughts in our minds. We should believe that Master is with us at all times, as Dafa is omnipotent. If we can truly do that, we won't be affected by the illusions generated by interference or physical tribulations transformed by the evil. Our fears and human attachments will become less and weaker, and we will more smoothly and better do the three things.
Master said,
“If you, as my student, truly want to “help Master rectify the Fa,” then you should concern yourself only with how to best fulfill what Master wants.” (“What Does it Mean to 'Help Master Rectify the Fa'?”)
What Master wants us to do now is to save more sentient beings. We should focus our minds on this matter and think of better ideas and ways to do the three things well. We can't just pick the easy tasks and avoid doing things that seem difficult. We can't do things based on our moods either. When we are happy or when things conform to our human mentalities, we do them. When we aren't happy or don't agree with things we are supposed to do, then we won't do them. Regarding this issue of Master requiring us to save more people in all possible ways, we should not take it lightly, stopping after a smattering of progress. We should also have the heart to willingly suffer more hardship, be responsible, and take on more tasks, to best fulfill what Master wants.
In order to fulfill our prehistoric missions of assisting Master to rectify the Fa, the foremost step is to eliminate fear, and the attachments to self-interest and comfort, which are two big obstacles to one's cultivation. If you care too much about self-interest, you won't be able to return to heaven. If your attachment to comfort is too strong, you won't be able to become a divine being. If you are attached to self-interest and enjoyment in the mundane world, then you might only stay here and be a human. Every moment of time right now is more precious and valuable than anything in the human world. Where you put your heart determines where you are going. Only by persistently taking solid steps and responsible actions, and striving forward vigorously in cultivation, is one truly helping Master rectify the Fa.
Moreover, Master also talked about the issue of some practitioners contacting Master's family members to seek validation for their own ideas and then spreading their words among practitioners. Some Dafa disciples are able to see Master in person, which is a special treat for them. They should cherish such opportunities, rather than disturbing Master's family members and interfering with Master's Fa-rectification progress. Master's family members do not represent Master. When those practitioners went to Master's family members seeking something, they weren't cultivating their speech, and also disrupted Master's family members' personal cultivation. Those practitioners also interfered with the progress of Fa-rectification as a whole, creating a loophole for the old forces to take advantage of. Don't we often say that we should make Master happier and less worried? Whenever Dafa disciples have the chance to meet with Master's family members, they must strictly cultivate their hearts and speech and not spread anything that isn't consistent with the Fa. Otherwise they are indulging their human attachments and causing more worries for Master, or even being a drag on Fa-rectification. As Dafa disciples who are about to reach consummation, we should enlighten and pay attention to this issue.
