(Clearwisdom.net) Recently the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has heavily promoted a “Singing Red Songs” movement. Sanxia Center Hospital is even using singing communist party songs to treat mental disorders. In prison, criminals who sing red songs will get a term reduction. In some offices and companies, employees are required to wear the CCP symbol, or else face a fine. Many departments celebrated the CCP's 90th anniversary by singing red songs. This trend has spread all around the country.
The CCP has also blockaded Internet information, and intensified the persecution of dissidents and other innocent people. The older generations, which experienced the Cultural Revolution, fear it might be the beginning of another political “movement.” Some government officials have remained silent. The CCP is doomed to fail, yet on the surface it still appears quite strong. It uses these songs to deceive people and poison their minds. Dafa disciples should look upon this movement with righteous thoughts. Master taught us,
"Dafa disciples must validate the Fa. For you, clarifying the truth and saving all beings are first and foremost." (“Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference”)
The CCP is using “red songs” to boost its courage. Dafa disciples should understand that this is a sudden burst of activity before the inevitable collapse of the CCP, and should not be influenced by it. We should not just think of it as an internal activity of the CCP for its own interests, or as a means to sustain its power. Rather, we should be clear that the evil is poisoning the minds of sentient beings, and should not lower our guards, but intensify righteous thoughts to eliminate this evil.
The CCP utilizes this music to deceive people. In China, some elderly people's minds are full of party culture. They are unsatisfied with current society, and singing these songs makes them nostalgic for the CCP's past. Non-practitioners are not sure what they are attached to from the past. The younger generation does not believe anything, yet the “red songs” deceive them into believing in the CCP's glories, and maintaining the illusion that the CCP is honorable and dignified. All of the above makes it more difficult to save sentient beings. Dafa disciples should intensify clarifying the truth, and use every opportunity to reveal the evil's lies.
Although many people hate to sing these songs, they have no other choice, as they are under the control of the CCP. Shen Yun is a tool Master has given us to save sentient beings. Every Dafa disciple should utilize all opportunities to distribute Shen Yun DVDs, and send a thought of eliminating all the evil which is blocking people from seeing the Shen Yun performances. There are evil beings blocking people from watching the DVDs, so we should not just simply distribute them, but be mindful of following up with righteous thoughts. Some people waited a long time to watch the DVD and perhaps forgot about it. But once they watch, things change.
Dafa disciples should study the Fa well, have righteous thoughts, and clarify the truth with wisdom. This way we can fulfill our mission in assisting Master. Eventually, the CCP's “Singing Red Songs” movement will end in shame.
