(Clearwisdom.net) On May 13, Falun Gong practitioners held activities on Beyoglu Street in Istanbul, Turkey, celebrating the 12th World Falun Dafa Day and the 60th birthday of Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa.

The activities started at 2:00 in the afternoon. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises. The gentle movements and peaceful music attracted many local citizens and tourists. Some people learned the exercises. It had been cloudy and raining in the morning, but soon after the activities started, the sun came out.
During the four-hour long activities, practitioners passed out more than one thousand flyers and DVD's that clarify the truth of Falun Gong. Many people asked for the local contact information of practitioners, expressing an interest in learning the exercises.
Several local media came to the event. They took photos and video and interviewed practitioners. The event ended at 6:00 p.m.
At the end, practitioners wished Master Li Hongzhi Happy Birthday.
