(Clearwisdom.net) May 13, 2011, is the 12th World Falun Dafa Day, also the 60th birthday of Master Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Gong. Nearly one thousand Falun Gong practitioners held a grand and solemn activity in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on May 7, 2011, to celebrate this grand occasion.

The celebration featured performances by the Divine Land Marching Band and the waist drumming group, singing and free exercise instruction on the spot. Tourists stopped to watch and appreciate the performances, and some local people learned to practice the exercises.

The celebration invited district governors, city council members, and guests from all walks of life. Practitioners hope that more people will learn about Falun Gong, raise further concern about the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party, and condemn the human rights atrocities being committed against Falun Gong in China.
