(Clearwisdom.net) Hongshan District prosecutors in Wuhan City recently attempted to indict four practitioners, Mr. Peng Liang, Mr. Zhang Jingzhou, Mr. Liu Shehong and Mr. Ouyang Haiwen.

Mr. Peng Liang and Mr. Zhang Jingzhou were arrested in the early morning on December 13, 2010, as they posted the messages “Falun Dafa is good” and “Heaven will eliminate the CCP” on the outer wall of the Wantong Driving School in the Dongxihu District. Plainclothes police agents who were staked out nearby made the arrest. Under the instruction of the Wuhan City 610 Office, the two practitioners were taken to the Wuhan City Police Department's Domestic Security Division (No.1 Division), where they were subjected to sleep deprivation and beatings. They were later held in the Hongshan District Detention Center.

Mr. Ouyang Haiwen was arrested in mid-January 2011. The police notified his family on January 28, 2011 that Mr. Ouyang was being held in the Wuhan City No. 2 Detention Center. It has been learned that Mr. Ouyang is in critical condition as a result of severe physical abuse and mistreatment under the persecution. He has been hospitalized, but which hospital is unknown.

Mr. Liu Shehong was arrested the evening of December 21, 2010 by officers from the Wuhan City Police Department's Domestic Security Division. He is being held in the Hongshan District Detention Center.

Five members of Mr. Peng Liang’s family practice Falun Gong. During the 11 years of persecution by the CCP, each of them has been arrested several times, searched, detained, subjected to brainwashing and sentenced to a forced labor camp. Younger brother Peng Min was severely beaten by detainees instigated by police at the Qingling Detention Center in Wuchang District, Wuhan. As a result, he was paralyzed, his arms, legs and vertebrae were fractured, and he later died at the Wuhan City No. 7 Hospital. Twenty-two days after Peng Min passed away, their mother, Li Yingxiu, was beaten to death after she was detained at the brainwashing center. Their father, Peng Weisheng, appealed according to the law. He was determined to lead a righteous life and did not want to give up his belief in Falun Gong. He has been arrested five times, forcibly subjected to brainwashing eight times, and sentenced to the Hewang Forced Labor Camp in Wuhan for a second time. He was persecuted to the point where he became mentally unstable. Peng Liang has been arrested several times, and three times he was persecuted to the point of almost losing his life. At the end of 2001, after being arrested and persecuted, he was taken to Tongji Hospital for emergency treatment. In 2002, when he was taken to Yangyuan Brainwashing Center, he was again tortured so severely that he almost lost his life. In 2008, he was again tortured to the brink of death at Hewang Forced Labor Camp. (For more information, please visit http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2011/3/29/124102.html)

Prior to his practice of Falun Gong, Mr. Liu Shehong was a problematic young man who lived in the Wuchang District. He was imprisoned for four years because of drug addiction and fighting with others numerous times. His drug habit not only took all his family's money, but also destroyed his health. He developed edema in his feet, and his whole body became dark in color. He almost lost his life. At the end of 2006, Mr. Liu was fortunate to start practicing Falun Gong. He got rid of his long-time drug addiction after only four months. His health improved and his face took on a rosy complexion. He conducted himself according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, learned to treat others kindly, and became a different person. Seeing that the CCP slandered and cruelly persecuted Falun Gong practitioners, Mr. Liu wanted to tell the public what Falun Gong truly is. He posted truth clarification messages outdoors in 2008, and was subsequently arrested and subjected to forced labor. He had been held in a “strictly controlled team,” and was beaten numerous times for studying the Fa and doing the Falun Gong exercises.
