(Clearwisdom.net) Union Ballroom on the University of Utah campus felt serene as Falun Dafa music played before the grand ceremony began on April 9. As we spoke of the beauty and benefits of Dafa and told of the persecution happening in China, we discovered that not many people here had heard about Falun Dafa. But many people were interested in learning, touched by the stories of persecution of practitioners from China.

One lady got a flyer from us a year ago at a farmers' market, but she had misplaced it and lost the contact information. She met us again on this day and showed an interest in learning about Falun Dafa.
Learning the facts about Falun Dafa
One Chinese student said, "I love my country, but that does not equal loving my government.” This student has been using software developed by Falun Gong practitioners to browse banned websites when he is in China.
A little American Indian girl asked us how she could help many times. First she saw us making lotus flowers and liked helping. Later she came back and asked to help distribute flyers. We were so touched by her pure heart! Pure little children kept returning to our table, sensing a serene and calm energy.

One gentleman understood that the Chinese people have been brainwashed by their government. When he talks to his Chinese colleagues or friends about sensitive issues like Tibet, democracy, and Falun Gong, they try to change the topic. Also, his friends went to China last year for the World Expo in Shanghai and were astonished that they could not access Facebook or YouTube.
Many kindhearted people were appreciative of the materials they received from us as well as information about the shocking persecution of Falun Gong in China. They thanked us for being there and shook hands with us.
