(Clearwisdom.net) On March 19, a rally and a parade were held at Grange Park in Toronto, Canada, supporting 91 million Chinese withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Representatives from the Chinese community, the South Asian community, and the Vietnamese community gave speeches. The organizers offered to help Chinese people quit the Party.

Mr. Shi Tao, a political commentator, said in his speech that the CCP forced its members to make vows to join it, so it is a kind of religion. Because it believes in evil, however, it stays in power by killing, lies, and terrorism.

Mr. Shi said that atheism ruins people's moral standards and that quitting the Party offers a person the chance to return to his true self.
Dr. Su Ming, a former history professor at Beijing University, praised those who had withdrawn for their courage. He said, “They refuse to put up with the CCP's evil behavior and publicly renounced the Party. They are free of the Party and free of fears, too. Quitting the Party will help to restore the moral standard in China.”

Clement Rodrigo, the leader of the South Asian community in Toronto, said that he was pleased to come to the rally in support of the Chinese who have withdrawn from the CCP. He said Falun Gong practitioners' spirit has encouraged him. “I don't understand why the CCP describes Falun Gong practitioners in negative terms in the emails they send to me. Falun Gong practitioners are nice people. They are from all walks of life, including lawyers, doctors, engineers, and nurses. All they have asked for is a peaceful environment in which to practice.”

Mr. Rodrigo said that the CCP must know that people who believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance cannot be destroyed. “I like the practitioners that I know,” he said.
Mr. Tan Nguyen, the president of the Association to Support Democracy in Vietnam, hopes that all the Party members quit and liberate themselves.
Several Chinese people quit the Party at the rally. They said that the CCP is evil and they don't want to be controlled by it anymore. They were glad to be free of the CCP and called upon more members to quit.
A parade was held after the rally. The Divine Land Marching Band performed during the parade. Many local citizens observed the event with interest.

Ms. Zeng, a local citizen, applauded the band. She said, “This parade is truly great. I know some CCP members. Even they told me that the Party is corrupt, and everybody dislikes it. They told me that this evil force not only tries to control Chinese people, but also tries to extent its power outside its own borders. But I believe that justice will prevail.”
Mr. Zhou from Beijing, who is visiting his family in Toronto, took photos of the events. He said, “More and more people in China recognize the evil nature of the CCP. It will crash sooner or later. The CCP keeps its power by lying to people. If I didn't use the program that breaks through the CCP's Internet blockage, I would not know about the truth about Falun Gong, such as the fact that the “self-immolation” on Tiananmen Square was staged. I learned more such facts after I came to Toronto. I am happy for those who quit the Party.”
