(Clearwisdom.net) We were starting a discussion at a local gathering to share experiences when about eight police officers surrounded the more than twenty of us Dafa practitioners who were in the house. Facing such an unexpected event, many fellow practitioners quickly overcame their human notions of fear. One practitioner greeted the officers kindly and began to explain the facts to them, while others were sending forth righteous thoughts. An officer said, “Please cooperate! Please cooperate!” and began to videotape us. They also wanted to write down our names. As practitioners, we should not cooperate with orders from the evil, and we are to resist the persecution. But the officers illegally arrested some of the practitioners in two groups.
We then started changing how we were looking at this event. On the human plane, we changed from “facing an opposing force” to having compassion towards the officers, and in other dimensions we used righteous thoughts to eliminate evil spirits. Fellow practitioners began to sit in the full lotus position and erect one palm to send righteous thoughts. The atmosphere changed and officers from the police department, 610 Office and the local government left the house.
More than four hours later, the evil spirits in other dimensions were eliminated. With Teacher's support, all of the practitioners who were arrested returned home safely.
Several days later, an eyewitness, who saw us sending righteous thoughts, said, “This is truly remarkable. So many people sat in the lotus position with eyes closed and erected one palm. They looked like Buddhas.” This man tried to imitate the practitioners as he spoke, showing a lot of respect.
In the following I would like to report to Teacher what I saw, heard, and understood at my level and share it with fellow practitioners.
1. Cultivating true compassion to save people
When the police officers appeared, thoughts of conflict, getting arrested, and persecution surfaced. Although efforts were made to appear peaceful and I did say, “I am trying to help you,” in my heart thoughts such as “be on guard,” “these are bad people,” ”they are evil police officers,” etc., appeared instead of “these are sentient beings we need to save.” Hence, my clarifying the facts was not effective. The police officers also looked at me with angry expressions. Upon looking within myself, I realized that I must change my human notions. Any human notion will inhibit compassion from showing up, so that the power of compassion cannot manifest. Words based on pure compassion will have power, emanating Faluns and lotus flowers, and they can eliminate evil and save people. When we say something with human notions, it is just a statement by an ordinary person. Not only does it have no power, it might attract evil. This is also one of the reasons why we cannot clarify the facts to people very well. When I became aware of the need to remove these human notions, Teacher did it for me. Teacher has been looking after us. Now, when I send forth righteous thoughts, my mind is calm and my thoughts are righteous.
With righteous thoughts, I felt that the police officer next to me was to be pitied. I told him sincerely about appealing to higher authorities on April 25, the truth about the CCP-fabricated “self-immolation,” and the fact that good and evil will meet with reward or retribution. I also told him that some of his fellow policemen were practitioners also. He appeared to be receptive to what I was saying. This incident allowed me to understand an inner meaning of Teacher's words: “Compassion is an enormous energy, the energy of righteous gods.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2009 Washington DC International Fa Conference”)
2. Sentient beings are paying back to Dafa and Dafa disciples for saving them
The arrest mentioned earlier was planned in advance. The evil people manipulated those who did not know the facts and got them to be informants. The event was coordinated by officers from the village, city, and county. Whether it was in this world or in other dimensions, there was a contest between good and evil.
The evil spirits in other dimensions were operating through the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its officers. However, before they carried out their plan, there were calls from other people to alert the practitioners. During the gathering, the practitioners' cell phones were not on and hence we did not get the message. Still, it is clear that these ordinary people were trying to help practitioners, were against the persecution, and made a positive choice for themselves.
The practitioners who were taken to the police station sat in the full lotus position and sent righteous thoughts or clarified the facts. Here again, ordinary people offered help by informing other practitioners of their whereabouts, so that all of the practitioners near the police station could join in sending righteous thoughts as one body. Eventually, righteous thoughts dissolved the arrest and persecution, and restrained the officers from committing further crimes. Dafa saved those who were worthy of saving.
Practitioners outside the police station were able to coordinate with the family members of practitioners and with CCP members who understood the facts in the village to come to the police station to ask for their release. One of the party members said at the station, “It was only a small-scale gathering. Nothing important. Just let them go home.” Another practitioner talked to an officer from the 610 Office, who had watched a DVD of Shen Yun and knew about Dafa. The officer said, “Don't worry. They will be going home shortly.” Clearly, things were taking a positive turn in the human world. Righteous thoughts were controlling earthly events, because the practitioners were working as one body and continuously sending forth righteous thoughts.
When a practitioner continuously looks within himself and aligns his thoughts and actions with the Fa, he is in a position to remove human notions, selfish intentions, and become one with the Fa. At this point the laws of the old cosmos no long apply to him and the arrangement and trials set up by the old forces are dissolved. This is because the new cosmos does not recognize the old laws. At first the evil forces look fierce, but they are nothing compared with righteous thoughts and actions. We did what we should, and with Teacher's protection, all of the practitioners returned safely.
The time available to save sentient beings is limited. We should treasure the time we have, so that Teacher will not be disappointed. Let us carry out our sacred responsibility.
