(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Lijun was arrested by police on November 5, 2009, when he was distributing Falun Dafa materials. After being taken to the Gaoji Township Police Station in Dong'a County, he was beaten until he lost consciousness. On November 27, Mr. Wang was taken to Shandong Province Second Forced Labor Camp in Guanzhuang Township, Zhangqiu City, where he was tortured. The following is his account of the suffering he endured.
Tortured and Beaten to Unconsciousness
I began practicing Falun Gong in 2003. On the evening of November 5, 2009, several police officers followed me when I was distributing Falun Dafa materials. They jumped out of the police car and beat me. One hit my head with a baton and dragged me into the car. I was taken to the Gaoji Township Police Station in Dong'a County.
I was taken to an interrogation room. When I told them to stop persecuting good people, I was beaten again. One police officer hit my head with a baton until I passed out.
By the time I came-to, they had handcuffed me to an iron chair, and I was not released until the following day. The handcuffs cut into my flesh. Several officers demanded that I reveal my name, address, and other details, but I refused to answer. I told them the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong, but they ignored everything I said.
After breakfast, officers from Dong'a County continued to interrogate me. I remained silent. To obtain evidence that they could use against me, they held me to the ground, put materials they had confiscated around me and took a photo. They later tried to insult me and pull off my pants. I defended myself, so they beat me again. In the end my entire body was bruised.
The interrogation continued until 4:00 p.m. I was then released from the iron chair and taken to the Dong'a County Detention Center. I was called “Suspect A” because I refused to give my name. The officers locked me in the No. 10 Ward. The guards ordered the inmates to throw cold water over me. It was November and it was cold. They took a photo and fingerprinted me.
Ten days later, I was taken to the No. 4 Ward. The guards ordered the inmates to beat me, which they did until my face and chest were bruised and swollen. I felt excruciating pain. I was forced to mop the floor several times a day, and they kept hitting me all day long. The guards also contracted outside work, which I was forced to perform.
One time, they tried to insult me, so I refused to follow orders. Several inmates then pulled off my clothes and threw cold water on me. It was snowing that day, and they kept hitting me. The guards were afraid that I would die, so they transferred me to Ward No. 5.
Tortured in the Shandong Province Second Forced Labor Camp
I was taken to the Shandong Province Second Forced Labor Camp in Guanzhuang Township, Zhangqiu City on November 27, 2009. The guards there demanded that I write statements renouncing Falun Dafa, but I refused. A month later, guard Li Gongming handcuffed me and threatened to shock me with five electric batons if I didn't give up practicing Falun Dafa. He tried to brainwash me for a month.
At that point, I was forced to perform hard labor. I wrote “Falun Dafa is good” on my table. After guard Li Gongming found out, he handcuffed me to a bed frame, so I was hanging in the air with my wrists supporting my body weight. I was in excruciating pain and broke out into a cold sweat. Li did not want to be held responsible, so I was released from this hanging torture. My body was stiff and I could no longer sit properly.
A few days later, guard Luo Guangrong ordered me to perform hard labor. I refused, and he and seven other guards tortured me. They handcuffed me to a bed frame. I was squatting with my arms raised up for three days. I was allowed to use the toilet only once per day. I was in extreme pain. The fourth day, they handcuffed me to a window frame and made me sit on a small chair.
Information that slandered Teacher and Falun Dafa was broadcast every day. Each night, guard Li Gongming took me back to my cell, and several former Falun Gong practitioners tried to brainwash me with teachings from another practice. This continued for a month.
On September 28, 2010, the guard ordered everyone to sing praise to the Chinese Communist Party before its founding anniversary on October 1. I didn't go to the ceremony, but guard Guo Menghui tried to force me to attend. He verbally abused me and pulled me around by my hair.
