(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Jin Yunzhi, in her 60s, lives on Xinchengzi Street, in Shenbeixin District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. She took care of her mother, in her 80s, and her adopted brother who completely lost his ability to take care of himself.
Right before the Chinese Lunar New Year in 2010, Ms. Jin’s husband died in a car accident in Shandong Province. Soon after she finished taking care of her husband's funeral, on the evening of March 3, 2010, Ms. Jin was reported to the authorities by a person when she was distributing truth-clarification materials to people in Wangjia Village, Huangjia Xibozu Township, Shenbeixin District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. That night police went to ransack her home and confiscated her personal belongings including her computer and printer.

Ms. Jin’s mother witnessed her only daughter lose her husband and then get sentenced to “re-education” through forced labor. Her mother was unable to bear the situation and she cried every day. When the winter was approaching, she was more concerned about her daughter's safety in the forced labor camp. When she learned that scabies covered her daughter’s entire body as a result of the mistreatment she suffered, she worried more about her daughter.
In the beginning of December 2010, Ms. Jin’s mother suffered a stroke due to grief and anxiety for her daughter. On December 5, she went into a coma, and she was taken to the hospital. During the period of her hospitalization, she was unable to move or talk and she became incontinent. Although the financial condition of Ms. Lin’s family was very poor, with no one able to take care of Ms. Lin’s mother, the family hired a live-in caregiver.
On January 4, 2011, Ms. Lin’s mother was discharged from the hospital due to being untreatable. At around 8:00 a.m. on January 15, Ms. Lin’s mother passed away. Since the time the Chinese Communist Party began persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, the number of the people who have fallen ill and passed away due to grief and despair has been uncountable.
