(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in ten provinces. In this report, 18 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Huimin and Ms. Hu Miaomiao Persecuted in Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Liu Huimin from Dingxing County in Baoding City is 51 years old and was employed by the Dingxing County Commercial and Trade Bureau. She was illegally arrested by officers from the local police station on June 14, 2010. They beat her and injured her body in multiple places. A bone in her foot was displaced and she has not been able to take care of her daily needs since. Ms. Liu is still being held in Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.
Ms. Hu Miaomiao from Zhangjiakou District is 24 years old. Because of resisting the persecution, guards in the forced labor camp directed several prostitutes and drug addicts to monitor her for over 24 hours. During this time they shocked her private parts with electric batons and beat her. Her face became swollen as a result of beating, and she could hardly walk. They put her into solitary confinement so that nobody could see her wounds. Ms. Hu is still being held in Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.
Over one hundred practitioners are currently being held in Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.
2. [Qianan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Fengzhen's Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Li Fengzhen from Qianan County, 67 years old, was arrested on September 19, 2009 by officers from the Qianan County Public Security Bureau and taken to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City. Ms. Li started a hunger strike to resist the persecution, but they began to force-feed her on the fifth day of the hunger strike. After half a month, Ms. Li went missing.

3. [Yi County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Kou Suxiang and Ms. Dong Guiwen Arrested
Ms. Kou Suxiang was arrested by officers from the Yi County Public Security Bureau Special Duties Unit at about 3:00 p.m. on January 25, 2011.
Ms. Dong Guiwen was arrested at Jiudaoling by officers from the Yi County Public Security Bureau Special Duties Unit on January 27.

4. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested by Officers from Peide Town Police Station
Nine practitioners, including Ms. Zhao Li, Ms. Zhang Xihuan, Ms. Guo Shuying, Ms. Sun Qilan, Ms. Sun Yuqin, Ms. Hu Xiuyan, Ms. Gong Hongmei and Mr. Zhang Wenye, were arrested by officers from the Peide Town Police Station in Mishan City at about 3:00 p.m. on January 24, 2011, while they were explaining the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong to villagers in Qingnian Village, Peide Town. One practitioner has been released. The other eight are being held in the Mishan City Detention Center.

5. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Dong Xianghui Persecuted in Daqing Oilfields Drilling Engineering Firm
Directed by Liu Jianjun, deputy director of Daqing Oilfields 610 Office; Peng Jun, director of Daqing Oilfields Drilling Engineering Firm Fourth Branch 610 Office; staff members from the Fourth Branch Financial Security Division; and chief of the Fourth Branch Second Motorcade arrested Mr. Dong Xianghui on September 17, 2010 at his home in Babaishang Employee's Family Housing Area, Honggang District, Daqing. They took Mr. Dong to Wuchang Brainwashing Center in Heilongjiang Province.
Mr. Dong had been detained by officers from Babaishang, Honggang District, Daqing in June 2006 and sent to Suihua Forced Labor Camp for a term of 18 months.

6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Jingying Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Ms. Wang Jingying from Dalian was arrested in her home and taken to the Gaojia Police Station on April 23, 2010 by officers from the Dalian City Domestic Security Division. She was later sent to Yaojia Detention Center. The court secretly tried her without informing her family, and sentenced Ms. Wang to three years in prison.
7. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Junhua Arrested by Officers from Beigang Police Station
The deputy director of the Beigang Police Station in Fusong, Zhang Jianbo, and others ransacked Ms. Wang Junhua's home. They took a copy of Zhuan Falun and arrested Ms. Wang. Ms. Wang was sent to the Fusong County Detention Center for a term of five days.

Ms. Yue Xiuhua is from Gaoyang Village, Hanjia, Beimeng Town, Changyi City, Weifang. The Changyi City 610 Office sent her to Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp on the morning of January 24, 2011 for a term of one year.
10. [Lushan City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Han Yuming's Personal Belongings Taken by 610 Office Again
A traffic policeman intercepted Mr. Han Yuming's vehicle when he drove near a tunnel in Lushan on January 26, 2011. The traffic policeman asked to check his license. Sun Weiguang, deputy director of the Domestic Security Division searched his vehicle, took his MP3 player, an electronic navigator, two copies of Minghui Weekly and informational materials on facts about Falun Gong. Later, they forced Mr. Han to delete information stored in his cell phone.
11. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Information about Arrested Practitioners in Jinchang City
Mr. Mao Wei was sentenced to six years in prison in March 2007. He is now being held in the Eighth Ward of Jiuquan Prison in Gansu Province.
Mr. Ma Zhigang was sentenced to 12 years in prison in April 2003. He is now being held in Jiuquan Prison in Gansu Province.
Ms. Wei Anyue was sentenced to 10 years in prison in December 2003. She is now being held in the Third Ward of Lanzhou Prison.
Ms. Chan Siyuan was sentenced to 13 years in prison in April 2003. She is now being held in the Fifth Ward of Gansu Province Women's Prison.
Ms. Li Guiying was sentenced to 13 years in prison in April 2003. She is now being held in the Sixth Ward of Gansu Women's Prison.
Ms. Wang Yumei was sentenced to four years and six months in prison in June 2009. She is now being held in Ganshu Province Women's Prison.
Ms. Li Xia was sentenced to four years in prison in June 2009. She is now being held in Gansu Province Womens' Prison.

12. [Inner Mongolia] Mr. Zheng Jun Held in Tumuji Forced Labor Camp for Extended Term
Mr. Zheng Jun from Houcheng Town, Chicheng County, Hebei Province was working in Beijing. With the excuse of enhanced security measures leading up to the Olympics, police arrested him on July 26, 2008, and he was sent to Tumuji Forced Labor Camp in Inner Mongolia for a term of two years and six months. His term is already up, but the forced labor camp authorities are holding Mr. Zheng for an extended term because he refuses to give up practicing Falun Gong.

13. [Shuangliu County, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Qian's Term Extended
Ms. Huang Qian was arrested on March 6, 2009 by officers from the Longgang Police Station in Shenzhen City. She was sent to Guangdong Province Women's Forced Labor Camp for a term of two years. Her term is supposed to be up on March 5, 2011, but it is now being extended for an extra month and five days.
14. [Hubei Province] Ms. Liu Juhua Persecuted
Ms. Liu Juhua was sent to Wuhan Women's Prison in April or May of 2009. In the prison, she was forced to watch videos defaming Falun Gong. Refusing to watch would result in sleep deprivation, and not being allowed to buy or use daily necessities, including toilet paper. Family visits are not allowed. Mr. Liu is watched 24 hours a day by Luo Qiongfang and other collaborators. Mr. Liu has become very weak as a result of persecution.
15. [Hubei Province] Ms. Liang Xiangjiao Persecuted
Ms. Liang Xiangjiao was put into Wuhan Women's Prison in June or July of 2010. They forced her to wear handcuffs and deprived her of sleep for days. Once, Mr. Liang rushed out from an office where she was being held. She shouted “Falun Dafa is good,” and the collaborator and inmate on duty immediately forced Ms. Liang to the ground. They held her neck, covered her mouth, and dragged her back into the office.
