(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Fang from Ganyu County, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province has been illegally detained for nearly half a year. She is 45 years old, and was a teacher at the Huanghailu Elementary School in Qingkou Town, Ganyu County. Before this, she was subjected to four years of imprisonment.

Ms. Yang was followed and arrested by Ganyu County police when she posted Falun Gong materials on the evening of June 21, 2011. A gang of police officers ransacked her home the following morning and took away the image of Master, Falun Gong materials, a printer, cash, bank deposit books and her other personal belongings. The officers included He Congbin, head of the Ganyu County Domestic Security Division; Liu Chunsong, deputy head of the Ganyu County 610 Office; Zhong Weihua, deputy head of the Domestic Security Division and police officer Wen Shihang. Officials from the Ganyu County Police Department transferred Ms. Yang to the Ganyu County Detention Center on June 23.

Before this, Ms. Yang was taken into custody and sentenced to four years in prison because she remained steadfast in her spiritual belief, Falun Gong. She was arrested by officials He Congbin, Li Zhaoxue and Yaoling while she was in her classroom teaching on April 13, 2005. Police also ransacked her home. She was first tortured in the detention center for more than eight months, and then transferred to and persecuted in Nantong Women’s Prison in Jiangsu Province. Her parents both passed away during the first two years of her imprisonment.

After Ms. Yang was arrested again in 2011, officials from the Ganyu County 610 Office, police department, Procuratorate and the court tried her on July 6. However, the authorities didn’t announce any legal prodeedings in the past more than one month. It was learned that He Congbin threatened and coerced Ms. Yang to write a "repentance statement" and "guarantee statement".
