(Clearwisdom.net) I know five elderly female fellow Falun Gong practitioners very well. None of them had much schooling but they all have great wisdom given to them by Dafa. With firm and righteous belief in Dafa and Teacher's care, they are walking steadily on the path of assisting Teacher in Fa-rectification. I am going to talk about some of their experiences in cultivation and truth clarification and I hope that this will encourage everyone to have more of a sense of urgency for saving sentient beings and fulfilling our mission as Dafa disciples.
I. Rectify Ourselves According to the Fa's Standards and Save More Sentient Beings
When we share our experiences, practitioner A often says, “Compare ourselves with the Fa, rectify ourselves, and save more sentient beings. Really, what can I do myself? It is all Teacher doing it.” She is 65 years old and she had less than two years schooling in her childhood. When she repeatedly studied “Melt Into the Fa” in Essentials for Further Advancement, she had a very deep understanding of the following:
“As a student, if his mind is filled with nothing but Dafa, this person is definitely a genuine cultivator. So you must have a clear understanding on the matter of studying the Fa. Reading the books more and studying the books more is the key to truly elevating yourself.” (“Melt Into the Fa” from Essentials for Further Advancement)
She thus decided to memorize Zhuan Falun. She started in the second half of 2008 and it took her seven or eight months to memorize it the first time. Now she has memorized Zhuan Falun six times. Despite taking the time to memorize the Fa, she did not get held up at all in doing the three things.
The group Fa study is held at her home. She was the first person in her group who was able to go out in public and clarify the facts face-to-face with people. Later other members in the group were inspired by her example and gradually also began to clarify the facts face-to-face. Then they started to work in small teams to clarify the facts and also helped other Fa study groups to start going out. She was wondering why there are so many construction sites in her area and even the smallest construction sites have 500-600 people, while the biggest ones have 4,000-5,000 people. She realized that these people are there because they want to hear the truth about the persecution and be saved. Therefore, she walked to nearly 100 construction sites that were dozens of miles away from her home and distributed countless Shen Yun DVDs, truth-clarification DVDs, booklets, and other Dafa materials. So many workers happily received the items and learned the truth.
At the beginning of this summer she was passing by a residential area that was just finished. She saw an elderly man washing the surface of the road and she walked over to clarify the facts to him. Then she gave him a Shen Yun DVD. The man was holding the hose with his left hand and took the DVD with his right hand. He raised it above his head and shouted to the sky, “Heaven! Today I finally got the treasure! I'll take good care of it!” She saw the true joy people have from being saved. She was moved to tears and really saw that everyone is waiting for the truth and waiting to be saved. She shared this at the group Fa study and fellow practitioners all gained a deeper understanding of our responsibility and mission as Dafa disciples.
One evening this past August, she and four other practitioners went out to clarify the facts and distribute DVDs together. It was the first time for two of the five practitioners and one of them recorded the names of people who quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) while the other one sent forth righteous thoughts. They distributed over 200 DVDs and had only two left, so they started to walk back. Then they saw two elderly men on the side of the road, so they walked over and gave the DVDs to them. A middle-aged man walked over. From his dress he didn't seem to be an ordinary construction worker. He asked practitioner A what they were doing. She clarified the truth with him in depth regarding the Communist Party's crimes against the Chinese people since it took power, including the Cultural Revolution, to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong. The man agreed to quit the CCP and also said, “I'm responsible for these two construction sites. If you have more DVDs, can you give me a couple? I'll go back and play them for my workers.” She said, “That will be a wonderful thing to do!” So she went back to the two men and said, “You probably won't get a chance to watch them today. Let me just borrow them from you for now and I promise to bring some to you tomorrow.” They thus returned the DVDs – one was Shen Yun and the other one was Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. She thanked them and gave it to the middle-aged man, who happily left.
In one evening, they distributed over 200 Shen Yun DVDs, several dozen Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party DVDs, several dozen booklets, and several dozen amulets. They also helped more than 80 people to quit the CCP.
Practitioner A again went to the same place to clarify the facts some time later. The two elderly men said, “Don't you still owe us two DVDs?” She apologized to them and handed over two DVDs. The two elderly men thanked her and walked away very satisfied. When she distributed DVDs to others, some said that they had already watched it at the construction site. She knew that it must have been the middle-aged aged man who played it for them. She felt that he was very blessed and sent forth righteous thoughts for him so that he would be able to play the DVD for more people.
Dafa Disciples Have Supernormal Abilities; Teacher Is Always Next to Us
Practitioner B is 58 years old. Due to poverty, she did not even finish the second grade of elementary school. She often says when sharing with fellow practitioners, “Dafa disciples all have supernormal abilities and Teacher is always next to us.” Every day she goes out to clarify the facts face-to-face. She teams up with others in the Fa study group when they have time, and goes alone if no one else is available. She also arranges some time each week to distribute materials. Each residential place in their area is assigned to one practitioner so that all the sentient beings have the chance to be saved.
She was originally from Sichuan Province. She often writes to her relatives there and sends them truth-clarification materials and DVDs. Thus they all gradually learned the truth about the persecution and the goodness of Falun Dafa, and all of them quit the CCP. Some fellow practitioners worry that the post office might see the materials and DVDs being sent over. She said, “I'm sending them and I have the final say. The post offices will not see them and the people who receive them will learn the truth and be saved.” During the Sichuan Earthquake in April 2008, Beichuan was hit badly, even worse than Wenchuan. Her third older brother lives there with six family members. All seven people in the family were all completely safe, while the neighboring families all had deaths and injuries. When she visited them this March, they all cried and wanted to give her money or gifts for Teacher Li. She told them, “Teacher will not take anything from you. As long as you tell others 'Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,' and tell them your secret to being safe, that will be good enough.” When she left, they all asked her again and again to pass along their appreciation to Teacher for protecting them.
She was clarifying the facts and asking people to quit the CCP on a summer night in 2010, when a tall man suddenly came up. He restrained her and asked, “What are you giving to people?” She said very calmly, “Information that saves people.” He threatened that he would arrest her and take her to the detention center and call the 110 emergency number (similar to 911 in the United States). She thought in her mind, “What you say doesn't count. What my Teacher says counts.” She thought of putting a shield on the phone and not letting the phone connect. As a result, he called 110 five times but could not get through. She then clarified the facts to him and also gave him a 2010 Shen Yun DVD. After he left, another person took her aside and said, “Do you know who he is? He is the deputy captain of the local state security office.” She said, “His position doesn't matter to me. We are just trying to save him.”
For World Falun Dafa Day on May 13 this year, in order to save more sentient beings, our area made several hundred banners that read: “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” All of them went out on display on the night of May 12. Practitioner B and another elderly practitioner went out to hang the banners on the guardrails along the highways. The guardrail was over two meters above the ground but it didn't stop them. She held the bottom part of the rail and thought in her mind, “Teacher talked about 'striking through a poplar tree from one hundred paces away,' then let me try that.” She stepped on the ground and the next moment she was standing on the guard rail. The other practitioner asked, “How do I get up there?” Practitioner B said, “You do the same.” Practitioner B held her hand up and she also got up on the rail. After the two elderly practitioners hung the banners, they wondered how they would get down. Practitioner B thought of what Teacher said, “With the light martial arts, one can travel back and forth in high locations.”(Zhuan Falun, 2000 Translation version) She thought, “Let us do that.” The two practitioners then landed lightly on the ground.
One time she was putting up Shen Yun posters in apartment entrances. When she was on her way back, she felt pain in her left index finger. She looked at it and saw that a joint was swollen and she could feel with the other hand that some bone was sticking out. She thought in her mind, “I'm a Dafa disciple and this is not the right state.” She lightly rubbed the bone and said to it, “I'm a Dafa disciple who is assisting Teacher in rectifying the Fa. You should not interfere with me. You should also assimilate to Dafa and you will end up in a good place in the future. Otherwise what will you do? Listen to my words and hurry up and return to your place!” Before she got home, her finger was back to normal. The other practitioner who was there with her said, “Someone who believes in Teacher and believes in the Fa really can do anything. It is indeed true!”
Practitioner B often goes to the outdoor market to clarify the facts and many salespeople have been saved. Now when she goes to the market, they all greet her and ask her for materials. There is also someone who shouts out “Falun Dafa is good” whenever he sees her. One time he was shouting “Falun Dafa is good” and a police officer riding a motorcycle was there and he stopped and asked, “Are you Falun Gong?” The man said, “No.” “Then why are you saying 'Falun Dafa is good'?” “I like to. So what? I just like to. It's none of your business.” The policeman looked around and saw people were all staring at him harshly. He mumbled something and left.
Although practitioner B didn't even complete second grade in school, she is able to get on the Internet, download materials, print out Minghui Weekly magazines and other materials. She not only has enough for herself but also provides them for other practitioners in her group. She often communicates with her computer and printer and encourages them to cooperate with Dafa disciples to assist Teacher in Fa-rectification, and to assimilate with the Fa for a bright future. With the Buddha Fa supernormal abilities given to them by Teacher, she and other practitioners in her group are able to assist Teacher in Fa-rectification with wisdom.
