(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Zhuo Guibin and Ms. Zhang Shuping from Yi County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, were recently arrested by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) police.
Mr. Zhuo was taken away by the Domestic Security Division of Baoding City on October 7, 2011. Once the Yi County Domestic Security Division became involved, Mr. Zhuo went missing. Notwithstanding efforts by his family members to determine his whereabouts, he has now been missing for 20 days.
Ms. Zhang was arrested by the Domestic Security Division of Yi County and Laishui County Public Security while working as a babysitter in Laishui County. She is currently imprisoned in the Qingyuan County Detention Center in Hebei Province.
Ms. Zhang, who is from Baifu Village, Gaomo Town, Yi County, is in her 50s. The Public Security authorities have been trying to arrest her for a very long time now, and her family has suffered severe harassment from the Party. She has suffered many forms of persecution from the Yi County 610 Office, Public Security, State Security Bureau, and the government since the CCP began persecuting Falun Gong. Her home has been broken into and ransacked by the authorities four times. She has been detained twice, sent into brainwashing centers twice, and fined close to a thousand yuan. Her daughter, Ms. Jia Aifang, was also sentenced to imprisonment in a forced labor camp for a year in 2003.
In February 2009, three men, including Tian Guojun, chief of the Yi County Domestic Security Division, and Zheng Qing, chief of the local police station, once again went to Ms. Jia Aifang's home in Beiwazhai to arrest Ms. Zhang Shuping. They said that if Ms. Jia would tell them where her mother was, they would give Ms. Zhang a minimum supporting wage and help her son obtain a marriage certificate. Ms. Jia Aifang and her husband, Mr. Liu Hanyu, said that they didn't know. They have since not dared to live in their own home any longer.
