Additional Persecution News from China – November 21, 2011 (7 Reports)

(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in six cities or counties and in three provinces. According to this report, one practitioner was subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least six practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Additional Information Regarding the Arrest of Ms. Zhang Aiye

Ms. Zhang Aiye from Shangchao Village, Miaokou Township, Qi County, works parttime in Wuhan City. Shuita Street Police Station officers arrested her on the afternoon of November 14, 2011, and took her to the police station. Qi County police have taken her back to the county.

2. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. He Yongfu Arrested

Mr. He Yongfu, 68, is retired from the China Aerospace Corporation's Factory No. 7111 in the Wenjiang District. On the morning of November 18, 2011, Sun Guangyou with the factory's Retirement Office made a phone call to Mr. He and deceived him into going to the office, where Wenjiang District 610 Office agents and Gongping Police Station officers arrested Mr. He and took him to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center.

3. [Huangshi, Hubei Province] Mr. Li Qiyao Arrested and Taken to a Brainwashing Facility

Mr. Li Qiyao from the Huangshigang District was arrested at home on the morning of November 19, 2011. He is currently in the Huangshigang District Brainwashing Center.

4. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Hu Fangxiu Arrested

Ms. Hu Fangxiu from Yutang Town returned home from work on the morning of November 11, 2011. As soon as she entered her home, several people who had been staked out outside broke in and took her computer, printer, and other personal belongings. They then took Ms. Hu to the Naxi Detention Center.

5. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Long Guande Severely Tortured in Sihui Prison

Mr. Long Guande was arrested on September 23, 2007. He was seriously injured as a result of being severely beaten by police. He was covertly sentenced to seven years in prison at the Tianhe District Court on May 20, 2009. Since he was sent to the Sihui Prison on August 28, 2009, he has been subjected to physically abuse and mistreatment by guards.

Mr. Long was subjected to torture and brainwashing on November 18, 2009, in the prison. He endured a great deal of mental and physical suffering.

6. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhan Lanzhen Arrested

Ms. Zhan Lanzhen from the Jiulongpo District was arrested on her way to work on the morning of November 18, 2011. Participating in the arrest were staff from the Yangjiaping Street Committee and Jiulongpo 610 Office agents. Ms. Zhan was taken to the Bailu Mountain Resort Brainwashing Center in Baishiyi Town.

Ms. He Shuqun, 76, was arrested at home on the morning of November 9, 2011. We have received no information about her so far.
