(Clearwisdom.net) Something happened a few days ago that has deeply affected some practitioners around our region. An elderly female practitioner, referred to as Auntie, who began practicing Falun Gong before July 20, 1999, lived in the residential area of a government institution in Beijing. She was diligent and persistent in letting people know the facts about Falun Gong. However, she passed away unexpectedly a few days ago.
Not long before Auntie passed away, she was still riding her bicycle several kilometers to distribute truth clarification materials. Her determination and endurance gave great encouragement to many practitioners in the surrounding area over the past ten years. She got up at 3:40 a.m. each morning to do the exercises and was diligent about sending righteous thoughts four times a day. Every day, she recited the book Zhuan Falun, and then studied Master's other Fa teachings. She participated in the discussions at group Fa-study, and compassionately helped other practitioners to find their shortcomings.
Auntie was having trouble moving one morning, and so her husband rushed to help her. He then called their son and daughter-in-law to come to the house. Her daughter-in-law insisted that she be taken to the hospital, but Auntie refused. When Auntie went to the bedroom to send righteous thoughts at 12:00 a.m., she seemed to be in a better condition.
At lunch the next day, when Auntie sat at the table, her breathing intensified, her head drooped, and then she passed away. Her husband said that she died peacefully.
Auntie's husband is not a practitioner, but he often reads Minghui Weekly. He never objected to her practicing, and always supported her doing the three things that practitioners are supposed to do. According to her husband, many years ago he asked her what consummation was. She answered, “It is when the master soul returns to its place of origin upon leaving the human body.” After Auntie passed away, many practitioners went to her home to pay their respects. Her husband asked one of the practitioners if what happened to his wife was the consummation she had talked about before?
Master said,
“Cultivating mind and body refers to cultivating one’s xinxing at the same time that one’s body is cultivated.” (Zhuan Falun)
Once a practitioner acknowledges that there is something wrong, the old forces will then use that thought to interfere with him or her. The old forces are aggressive toward practitioners, and the closer the Fa-rectification comes to the end, the more destructive are the tests. Auntie's words about consummation many years ago may not have been in line with the Fa. She might not have thought about what she said and not corrected herself according to the Fa. The old forces might then have taken advantage of such an omission.
To leave this world in such a way is not what Master wants. The passing away of a practitioner, reminds us that cultivation is very serious, and doesn't allow any deviation from the Fa. We should let go of our human notions and attachments, and we should negate the old forces' arrangements.
