(Clearwisdom.net) The following story was posted on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) on September 17, 2011: One afternoon in early August, four elder Falun Gong practitioners in Shandong Province were at a fellow practitioner's house. Altogether 13-14 policemen, including plainclothes officers from the city Domestic Security Division and local police station, came to that house to harass and arrest them. The four practitioners knew that they had done nothing wrong, so they calmly clarified the truth to the policemen. The house owner's daughter Huihui also spoke up to stop the police from arresting innocent people. Huihui is not a Falun Gong practitioner. She prevented the arrest of her mother and she also volunteered to help rescue the other three arrested practitioners. With the help of many members of society, the three arrested practitioners were released from the police station the very next day. Recently many family members of practitioners have stood up to resist the persecution and such instances have often been reported.

The Minghui website reported on a case April 22, 2011 titled "Mr. Zhou Xiangyang in Critical Condition--His Mother Calls for Justice (Photos)". The case was as follows: Falun Gong practitioner, Mr. Zhou Xiangyang, cost engineer at the Third Tianjin Railway Survey and Design Institute Group in Tianjin, was suffering persecution in the Tianjin Gangbei Prison. His mother tried to visit him, but her request was rejected. In despair, his mother wore a white cloth vest with the words, "My son is in critical condition - Gangbei Prison does not let his parents visit him - My son is a good person." Many bystanders were sympathetic. Mr. Zhou's mother told those who came up to her, "As a mother, I am heartbroken. My son has been in this prison for over a month and he is in very critical condition. I was here last month to ask about my son. They lied to me and told me that he wasn't there. I sat here for two consecutive days and still I did not get to see my son. My son believes in Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance, and while he worked as an engineer before he was persecuted, he even refused to take a bribe of a small bag of money." Some of the bystanders shed tears. One of them said, "The Chinese Communist Party is irrational and under its rule, no place is safe." Another one said, "The good people are the ones being jailed. How terrible!" And one person held his arms up and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Due to the persistence of Mr. Zhou's family members, Mr. Zhou's mother finally got to see her son at around 3:00 p.m. that afternoon.
The Minghui website reported on May 3, 2011 about a case titled “Daughter-in-Law of a Practitioner Speaks Out in Court Against the Persecution -- Judge Rendered Speechless" (see related article: Mr. Guo Fengzhan from Lingyuan, Liaoning Province, Sentenced to Four Years in Prison). Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Guo Fengzhan was 67 years old and he was from the Linggang District, Linggang City, Liaoning Province. On September 28, 2010, he was forcibly taken into police custody. In mid-October, the Prosecution submitted documents to the court and judge Qiao Jianming from the criminal court took charge of this case. Mr. Guo Fengzhan's daughter-in-law rode a bicycle to the court every day and gently pleaded with the judge, but Qiao Jianming just ignored her. On one occasion when she talked to Qiao Jianming, he yelled: “Why are you coming to bother me all day? What do you want?” She said: “My father-in-law's case is under your charge. If I cannot talk to you who else should I talk to? We family members have the right to know about the case. Since you said my father-in-law broke the law, then you should tell me what law he has broken. Our computer and printer are personal belongings and what family does not have such things? Even your family would have them, so are you breaking the law? Besides, you guys ransacked our home without any search warrant and left with our homeowner's certificate and certificates for 5,000 shares of stock. What you are doing is against the law and you are the bandit and robber!” The judge was not able to utter even a single word in response. On January 12, 2011, at 9:00 a.m., Qiao Jianming held an illegal court session. Mr. Guo Fengzhan's daughter-in-law spoke up righteously: "Your legal system has persecuted Falun Gong practitioners for many years by sending them to labor camps, ransacking their homes, fining them, sentencing them and even persecuting them to death. Even though your people have persecuted the practitioners to such an extent, I have not seen even a single practitioner take revenge on you guys!" Qiao Jianming appeared embarrassed.
On May 27, 2011 the Minghui website posted a report titled "Ms. Luo Yuying from Chengdu, Sichuan Province Transported to A Brainwashing Center--Righteous Family Fighting for Justice". On May 13, 2011, Falun Gong practitioner Luo Yuying from Zijingting District, Liucheng Town, Chengdu City, was forcibly taken to a Brainwashing Center. Ms. Luo's husband went to the Center to try to get his wife back. The Center agents asked him to show a "permit." The elder man was very angry and said: "You kidnapped my wife without any permit, how do you dare ask me for such paperwork? If you do not show me my wife, I will not leave, ever!" The police agents gave him a hard time in every possible way but sensing his strong will, they eventually gave up and let them see each other. When the husband was ready to leave, he said to his wife: "I will be back to see you often until you walk out of this black den." The old man also said to the agents: "I will come back again and again to ask for my wife back!" He also warned them: "Falun Gong practitioners are all good people! Persecuting Falun Gong practitioners is against the law! You guys chose to be bad people by persecuting Falun Gong to earn some ill money. Some day you will be judged by the righteous court of history!" The agents were shocked.
The Minghui website posted on July 20, 2011 another story titled "Female Farmer in Her 70s Sent to Brainwashing Center--Her Husband Sues the Authorities." The story goes as follows: Mr. Zhang Zihe suffered from serious illnesses and needed his wife to care for him. He demanded the 610 Office release his wife Luo Yuying, who was illegally detained for her belief in Falun Gong. 610 Office agents Yin Decai, Bao Xiaomu and others said that the purpose of imprisoning his wife was to force her to give up her belief in Falun Gong. Mr. Zhang Zihe could not bear it anymore, so he filed a lawsuit against them. In his accusation papers he set the following requests:
Release Ms. Luo Yuying immediately;
Investigate the plaintiff's claims that the Liucheng Police Station, the Wanchun Police Station and the Xinjin Brainwashing Center are guilty of kidnapping, illegal detention and preventing freedom of religious belief;
Provide compensation for all economic losses including medical costs, food expenses, loss of wages and mental damages.
The Minghui website reported on another story on August 20, 2011 titled "A Practitioner's Family Resists the Persecution and Courageously Protects Her". On August 4, 2011, at around 9:00 a.m., Xinjin 610 Office agents, policemen and other government officials from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province -- altogether over 10 people -- attempted to kidnap Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Peng Shuhua in order to take her to a brainwashing center. Ms. Peng's husband, Mr. Chen, in his 70s (a non-practitioner), spoke out to protect his wife, causing their plan to take her away to fail. Later, the agents managed to arrest Mr. Peng's wife. Mr. Peng's son accompanied his father to the Wujin Police Station of Xinjin County and nobly questioned them, but the agents shamelessly claimed ignorance.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in 1999, hurting countless families. Many practitioners' family members were initially deceived by the CCP's propaganda, but gradually they came understand the truth about Falun Gong and began to see through the vicious lies of the CCP. Therefore, in mainland China, more and more Falun Gong practitioners' family members have become supportive and started to resist the persecution. As more people understand that the CCP has lied to them and as they emerge from under the fear of the CCP, the CCP's campaign of persecution will be challenged by the combined voices of the Falun Gong practitioners, their family members and other supporters, and the international community and this will speed up the process of bringing the brutal persecution to an end.
