1. [Bazhong, Sichuan Province] Four Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested
A group of police officers led by Jiangbei Development Zone Police Department deputy head Yang Yongming and Domestic Security Division head Wen Yong arrested four practitioners on January 13, 2011. The practitioners are Ms. Yue Yingcong, a 62-year-old retired teacher; Ms. Peng Huaying, a 53-year-old Baozhong City Statistics Bureau accountant; 60-year-old Mr. Liu Yingkun and Ms. Fu Anzhen, a 70-year-old retiree. The police also ransacked the practitioners' homes, and confiscated Ms. Yue's two cell phones and an MP4 player. The practitioners are currently in the Bazhong Detention Center.

Ms. Wang Guiling was arrested on February 25, 2008 and sentenced to three years in prison.
3. [Dandong, Liaoning Province] Additional Information Regarding the Persecution of Ms. Wen Zhongxia
Ms. Wen Zhongxia, 55, lives in the Taotie Residential Area in Dandong City. Two plainclothes police officers beat and arrested her the morning of September 26, 2010 and took her to the Zhenxing District Police Station. An officer grasped her hair and slammed her head against a wall, pulling out some of her hair. Before the police sent Ms. Wen to the Dandong Detention Center, a physical examination had found that Ms. Wen's blood pressure exceeded 200 mm, but the final medical record showed that her blood pressure was normal. After being sent to the detention center Ms. Wen felt headachy and dizzy. The third day of her detention she fell into coma on her way to be interrogated. She was sent to a hospital for emergency treatment but was transported back to the detention center after only a two-day stay in the hospital. Ms. Wen's blood pressure is still high.
4. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Shuying Arrested
Ms. Zhang Shuying lives in Wulihan Village, Chengguan Town, Guan County. She was arrested at home the evening on January 22, 2011. Her previous arrest was two weeks ago when she went to distribute information about Falun Gong at a bus station. She was taken to the Sanga Town Police Station and was released that same day.
5. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Additional Information Regarding the Persecution of Mr. Liu Xiandong
Several officers from the Yemaotai Town Police Station in Faku County broke into Mr. Liu Xiandong's home the morning of January 21, 2011. Mr. Liu lives in Yanhuangdi Village, Maotai Town. The police attempted to arrest Mr. Liu but met with his family's strong resistance. The persecutors called for more police officers including the police station head, and eventually they carried Mr. Liu, who was barefoot, out of the house and forced him into a police vehicle. The police confiscated several truth-clarification DVDs and several posters with "Falun Dafa is good" written on them. Mr. Liu is currently in the Faku County Detention Center.

September 28, 2009. He was later sentenced to five years in prison

7. [Qian'an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Chen Xiuyun Detained
Ms. Chen Xiuyun, 60 years old, was arrested around 3:00 p.m. on January 22, 2011 as she distributed information about Falun Gong and the persecution. Officers from the Qian'an County No. 1 Police Station made the arrest. Ms. Chen is currently in the Qian'an County Detention Center.

8. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Huijiang and Mr. Ren Dongsheng Suffer Abuse and Mistreatment in the Gangbei Prison
When Ms. Liu Huijiang's family arrived for visitation day in the Gangbei Prison on January 14, 2011, three prison guards accompanied them all the time, and five criminal inmatess closely followed Ms. Liu during the visitation. A guard warned Ms. Liu's family not to talk about anything “sensitive.”
Mr. Ren Dongsheng's mother is in her 70s. She has not seen her son for quite some time. The prison guards have forbidden her to see him.
9. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Follow-up Report Regarding the Persecution of Ms. Zhong Shufang
Officers from the Huangwa Street Administration Office, along with staff from the Business Street Community, harassed Ms. Zhong Shufang at home on November 9, 2010. The following month, on December 20, 2010, Huangwa Street 610 Office head Li Shuanggui, along with the Business Street Community Party Secretary Zhang and others, once again harassed Ms. Zhong at her home. They attempted to force her to acknowledge that she had written a statement renouncing Falun Gong. They claimed that the city officials would come to review it and ordered Ms. Zhong to cooperate with them, so they would not have to bother her in future. Li Shuanggui told Ms. Zhong, "If you refuse to cooperate with us, I'll call the police to arrest you." The following day, two young men from the city's Political and Judiciary Committee came to Ms. Zhong's home. They repeated the same coercion tactics as Li Shuanggui did.
