Solemn Declaration
On June 13, 2008, the police came to my home to harass me. They confiscated Dafa books and materials and took me to the local Police Security Bureau. Upon arrival, the police physically and verbally assaulted me and tried to humiliate me. They tried to force me into disclosing the source of the confiscated Dafa materials. They even shackled me. There were 16 policemen from the 610 Office, separated into two groups of 8. One group physically and verbally assaulted me, trying to extort a confession, while the other group interrogated my wife. They tormented us for four days. I was forced to reveal the source of the Dafa materials, resulting in the loss of our material distribution center as well as the arrest of several fellow practitioners. I was put into a labor re-education (brainwashing) center for a year and a half. During this time I was forced to write the three statements. I am deeply sorry for my actions toward Dafa and to our compassionate Teacher. I solemnly declare that my words and deeds that were not in accordance with Dafa are null and void. I will redouble my efforts to make up for all the losses that I caused Dafa and to steadfastly cultivate in Dafa to the end.

Solemn Declaration
On November 4, 2010, I was arrested and sent to a brainwashing center. Due to my attachment of fear, I was unable to endure the physical and psychological persecution and I was forced against my will to write a “letter of discontinuance,” “letter of regret,” “guarantee statement,” “letter of acceptance,” and, after viewing the brainwashing videos, a “letter of reflection.” Also, I was forced to write a “brief personal biography” for my work unit and to say “I will not practice Falun Gong.” After returning home, I was in agony from the bottom of my heart. I found it so difficult to free myself from this feeling that I felt I couldn't live up to Teacher's compassion and salvation. I beg for Teacher's forgiveness and solemnly declare that all of my words, deeds, and written statements that were harmful to Dafa and Teacher are null and void. I will definitely redouble my efforts to remedy the losses I caused Dafa. I deny all the old forces' arrangements. I will walk the path that Teacher arranged for me, and keep steadfast faith in Dafa until the end.
