(Clearwisdom.net) Before dawn on November 4, 2010 the CCP staff from the 610 Office, Police Bureau of Jinxiang County, Yushan Township Police Station, and Office of Jinxiang Economic Development Zone broke into a private house by jumping over the security wall. They arrested Li Furong while she was sleeping and sent her to Jinan Brainwashing Center in Shandong Province. At noon on November 11, Liu Wei, the Politics and Law Committee secretary of the Economic Development Zone, Yushan Judicial Office Yang Linjun, and Li Changyu the party secretary at Li Lou Village came to Li Furong's home and ordered her family members to accompany them. The police threatened that if Li Furong's family refused, they would be responsible for the consequences (Li Furong had gone on hunger strike and her life was in danger). The family members did not go.
A mere several days after Li Furong was detained at the brainwashing center, she was tortured so severely that she suffered a hemorrhage, her whole body became pale, and she vomited blood. Then the person who was hired by the Jinxiang 610 Office to take care of Li Furong feared she would die and she hurried to report to the head of the Jinan Brainwashing Center. On November 20, when the guards found that Li Furong had difficulty talking, and appeared to be dying, the authorities were afraid of being held responsible and called the 610 Office in Jinxiang County and the Police Department to pick her up.
However, the 610 Office called Li Furong's family and told them to bring five thousand yuan in cash to take her home. Her family member said, “You arrested a good person and tortured her to the point of death--how can you ask for money? Just bring her back the same way you took her away. You will be responsible for her if anything happens.” Being repeatedly urged by Jinan Brainwashing Center, the 610 Office and Police Department took Li Furong, who was very weak, back home. They arrived there at midnight.
The family's annual income was not enough to pay medical bills. In the past, Li Furong had suffered from several health problems, including low blood pressure, uterine fibroids, anemia, degenerated fingernails, and more. She usually had difficulty standing, and sometimes she fainted while she was doing something. Her husband also had hepatitis B. He drank alcohol and had bad mood swings. He was physically and verbally abusive toward Li Furong. A scar on her head remained from when her husband hit her with a wine bottle. Li Furong repeatedly thought of suicide, and once had to be rescued after drinking pesticides. Later she heard of the powerful healing effects of Falun Gong, which was free of charge to everyone, so she began to practice. She followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and strived to be a good person. After she practiced Falun Gong, all her diseases disappeared. Her husband's hepatitis B was also healed and his temper improved too.
Li Furong wanted to share with everyone her experience after practicing Falun Gong. In the winter of 2009, because Ms. Li clarified the truth of Falun Gong to other people, she was reported by someone and arrested. She was detained at the Jinxiang Detention Center, then transferred to the Jinan Second Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province, by personnel from the 610 Office, the National Security Team, and Mamiao Town Police Station. However she was rejected since she did not pass the health examination.
