(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in 12 provinces. In this report, 16 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 26 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Zhigang Vomits Blood As a Result of Gross Abuse and Mistreatment in Hulan Prison
Mr. Li Zhigang was sent to the Hulan Prison Hospital on September 9, 2010, for medical treatment, and is still there.

3. [Xianyang, Shaanxi Province] Detailed Information Regarding the Arrests of Ms. Zhe Yongping and Ms. Wang Xueqin
Ms. Zhe Yongping and Ms. Wang Xueqin are both in their 70s. They were arrested on May 6, 2010, as they spoke with people at the Tibet Institute for Ethnic Nationalities about Falun Gong and the persecution. Wenhui Road Police Station officers made the arrests. The two practitioners were taken to the Weicheng Domestic Security Division. They are currently in the Taerpo Detention Center. Ms. Zhe and Ms. Wang have each been handed a one-year forced labor sentence and denied family visits.

4. [Jiyuan, Henan Province] Ms. Zhu Xiumei, Ms. Ma Zhichai, and Ms. Dong Yulan Arrested
Ms. Zhu Xiumei and Ms. Ma Zhichai were followed and arrested on the evening of September 13, 2010, as they spoke with people about Falun Gong. They are now in the city detention center.
We have learned that plainclothes agents also followed Ms. Dong Yulan on September 16, 2010, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong. She was arrested and detained.
5. [Jinan, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Guizhen Detained in Jinan Women's Prison
Huaiyin District Court officials sentenced Ms. Li Guizhen to four years and six months in prison in March 2010. She is in Jinan Women's Prison.
6. [Huating County, Gansu Province] Additional Information Regarding the Persecution of Ms. Li Ya
Ms. Li Ya was arrested on January 24, 2010, as she distributed informational materials about Falun Gong in Shenyu Township. She was first detained in the Huating County Police Department for two months and then transferred to the Chongxin County Detention Center and held there for three months. She was further transferred to the Huating County Detention Center in July 2010. County court officials covertly sentenced Ms. Li to four years in prison and sent her to the Lanzhou City Prison. Prison officials refused to accept her. Ms. Li is now in Xihua Detention Center.
7. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Ms. Peng Dexiang Arrested
Ms. Peng Dexiang from Qingshan Petrochemical Company was arrested on the morning of September 19, 2010, by officers from the Zhongnan Road Police Station.

8. [Guanghan, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yan Faying Placed Under Criminal Detention
Ms. Yan Faying is 64 years old. She was arrested on the morning of September 16, 2010, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong at the Zhongshan Vegetable Market. Two plainclothes officers took her to the Jinyan Police Station and then transferred her to the Chengbei Police Station. Three officers from the Chengbei Police Station ransacked Ms. Yan's home around 5:00 that same afternoon. They confiscated six Falun Gong books, a photo of Master, and Falun Gong materials and CDs. Ms. Yan was not given food or water the entire day. She was sent to the Guanghan Detention Center at 8:00 p.m. that same day.
9. [Zaozhuang, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhong Ru'ai Arrested
Officer Jing Dayong and three others from the Zaoxi Police Department at the Zaozhuang Mining Group Corporation broke into Ms. Zhong Ru'ai's home in her absence on the morning of August 11, 2010. They confiscated 16 Falun Gong books, Master's Fa-lecture CDs, CD copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, a computer, and 5,000 yuan in cash, earmarked for her child's wedding. These people went to Ms. Zhong's home again on the morning of August 28 to harass her; she was again not at home. She lived away from home to avoid persecution after the August 11th incident.
Unfortunately, Ms. Zhong was arrested on the morning of September 15, 2010, by officers from the Zaoxi Police Department. Her current circumstances are unknown.

10. [Dandong, Liaoning Province] Ms. Han Kun and Others Arrested
Ms. Han Kun and her husband, Mr. E Xiancai, 55, live in a 15th -floor apartment building affiliated with the Fiber Plant. The couple was arrested around 9:00 a.m. on September 19, 2010. Mr. Sui, who was visiting the couple at the time,was also arrested. The police ransacked the two practitioner's homes and confiscated their personal belongings.
11. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wu Chunlian and Mr. Wang Chunshan Arrested
Huadian City 610 Office head Yang Baolin and others arrested Ms. Wu Chunlian
and Mr. Wang Chunshan on September 17, 2010, and took them to the Yumuqiaozi Town No. 8 High School Brainwashing Center.

12. [Qing County, Hebei Province] Follow-up Report Regarding the Circumstances of Five Practitioners
Ms. Ma Qingling, Mr. Yao Wei, Mr. Zhang Tieshan, Mr. Li Xueming, Ms. Bai Suqin, and a practitioner from another county were arrested on August 25, 2010. Mr. Yao was given a one-year of forced labor sentence and taken to the Cangzhou Forced Labor Camp on August 26. Ms. Bai was also given a one-year forced labor sentence and taken t Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp. Ten days into her detention protest hunger strike, Ms. Ma was force-fed.

13. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Mr. Du Yaorong Arrested
More than a dozen officers from the Cangbu Street Police Station in the Xinzou District climbed over a courtyard wall at 8:00 p.m. on September 16, 2010. They then climbed up to the top of a third-floor building to lift roof tiles and break into practitioners' homes. They took seven practitioners to the Cangbu Police Station. Six practitioners returned home that same evening. Mr. Du was held in police custody, and his whereabouts are unknown.
14. [Bozhou City, Anhui Province] Mr. Luo Ling Subjected to Harassment
Bozhou City People's Hospital officials threatened Mr. Luo's daughter, who is employed at the hospital, in early September 2010. They forced retired employee Mr. Luo's employer to send him to a brainwashing center. The hospital officials terminated Mr. Luo's daughter's job and urged her to force her father Mr. Luo to go to a brainwashing facility. Mr. Luo lives away from home to avoid persecution.
15. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Hongbing Subjected to Forced Labor
Mr. Zhang Hongbing was arrested on June 24, 2010. Officers from the Nanta Police Station made the arrest. Mr. Zhang was later transferred to the Shenhe District Domestic Security Division. He is currently in Division One of the Shenxin Forced Labor Camp, to be held for one year and three months.
16. [Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province] Yuhua District Domestic Security Division Officers Harass Ms. Xing Qiying
Two plainclothes officers from the Yuhua District Domestic Security Division have been staked out at the gate to Ms. Xing's apartment building every day since September 7, 2010, to monitor her.
17. [Yinchuan, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Mr. Ma Zhiwu Arrested Again
Mr. Ma Zhiwu, 40, was arrested again. He was previously subjected to severe abuse and torture.
18. [Jining, Shandong Province] Ms. Lu Dongmei Arrested
Ms. Lu Dongmei is employed by the Jining City Real Estate Development Company. Central District 610 Office agents deceived her into leaving her workplace on September 14, 2010, and took her to the Shandong Province No. 2 Women's Forced Labor Camp in Wangcun.
19. [Mingshan County, Sichuan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested and Harassed
Ms. Yang Chaoxia from Yongxing Town was arrested on the morning of September 16, 2010. Participating in the arrest were officers from the Mingshan County Domestic Security Division, along with Yongxing Town Armed Forces Department head Zhou Qizhong and others. Ms. Yang is currently in the Ya'an Brainwashing Center.
Ms. Jiang Honglan from Longgang Village, Duiyan Town, and Ms. Chen Maoqin from Fengming Village were briefly held in Ya'an Brainwashing Center in August. They have returned home.
Mingshan County Domestic Security Division agent Gou Yongqiong and others unsuccessfully attempted to arrest Mr. Li Xigao, Ms. Long Bingzhen, and Ms. Jin Wenrong to incarcerate them into Ya'an Brainwashing Center. They confiscated the practitioners' DVD player and Falun Gong books and CDs. Ms. Jin lives away from home to avoid persecution.

20. [Laishui, Hebei Province] Six Practitioners Recently Taken to a Brainwashing Facility
Practitioners who were taken to the Laishui Party School Brainwashing Center are Ms. Zhu Xiuling, Ms. Yu Guizhi and Ms. Hu Runhua from Wangcun Township, and Ms. Xin Xiumin from Sanlipu, Laishui Town.
Ms. Xin refused to write the three statements and was violently beaten. She is still in the Party School's brainwashing center.
21. [Bozhou, Anhui Province] Ms. Wang Guizhi Arrested
Ms. Wang Guizhi from the Qiaocheng District was arrested around 8:00 a.m. on September 15, 2010. Participating in the arrest were officers from the Qiaocheng District Domestic Security Division, 610 Office agents, and officers from the Wobei Police Station. They took Ms. Wang to a brainwashing center.
22. [Tongling County, Anhui Province] Circumstances of Ms. Fang Yu and Mr. Han Zhong
Ms. Fang Yu, 41, was subjected to repeated arrests, detention, and brainwashing. She was covertly sentenced to seven years' incarceration around May 2009. Ms. Fang held a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention and was many times at the brink of death. The guards finally informed Ms. Fang's family to take her home. Ms. Fang decided to live away from home beginning the end of May 2010, to avoid further police persecution.
Mr. Han Zhong, 45, an employee of the Tongling City Chemical Fiber Factory, was several times subjected to arrests, forced labor camp stays, brainwashing, and all kinds of torture. Beatings by guards led to him losing his vision in one eye.
