(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Ruihai was illegally detained for almost a year. On top of this, the CCP minions sentenced him to a three-year prison term on June 30, 2010.
Mr. Wang lived in Shuangjiangkou Baofangjiao Village, Shaoyang City, Xinning County. He was on his way home from work on August 16, 2009, when two police officers arrested him and took him to the Xinning Detention Center. They confiscated his notebook, computer, MP3 player, and over 6,000 yuan. They refuse to return any of these items to Mr. Wang.
On the morning of August 17, 2009, plainclothes officers broke into and ransacked Mr. Wang's house. On September 19, 2009, his father, Mr. Wang Zhengyou, and his wife, Ms. Jiang Jianghong, were arrested and taken to the Shaoyang Brainwashing Center. They were released and are home.
On October 24, 2009, Xinning County Court in Shaoyang City put Mr. Wang Ruihai on trial. Lawyer Gu Guojun, employed with the Xinning Yuecheng law firm, defended him and pleaded his innocence. The court did not pronounce a sentence, but announced that they would wait for instructions from higher courts. Mr. Wang is still in Xinning Detention Center and family visits are not allowed.
In October 2009, the Procuratorate, Li Zhongnian, asked the family for 30,000 yuan, claiming that the money was for bailing out Mr. Wang. On June 30, 2010, Mr. Wang was sentenced to a three-year prison term.
