Greetings, fellow practitioners!
On behalf of all members of the telephone teams in Thailand and Korea, it is my honor today to share with everyone our experiences in rescuing fellow practitioners, saving sentient beings, shocking the evil, and striving forward with solid cultivation on the telephone rescue platform.
I would like to thank fellow practitioners on the Taiwan rescue platform for their full assistance and support, and the Japan rescue platform for supporting us with their strong righteous thoughts!
Some of us may not be familiar with the term telephone rescue platform. This is a group which serves as a communications mechanism. It is based on a chat room software application with everyone sharing information. We use it to dial numbers in the judicial system in China, including police stations and departments, procurators, courts, justice departments, prisons, the 610 Office, and the domestic security divisions. On this project our goal is to rescue mainland practitioners under persecution, and clarify the facts and shock the evil. Some on the platform are assigned to provide telephone numbers, and some to make phone calls and gather feedback, or send text messages if a number is not answered. There are others who organize and analyze results of the telephone calls.
Our platform was established in late May 2010, and after three months of operation and engagement, has stabilized and is now operating smoothly. Fellow practitioners have worked on 519 rescue cases and dialed a total of 11,200 telephone numbers. Every one of these numbers may have been dialed several dozen times in order to thoroughly reach the other side with the facts. This feat could only be done by Dafa disciples.
Over the three months ending August 24, 2010, 691 members in the judicial system of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have become aware of the truth, and have chosen a bright future by quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations. What is even more encouraging is that with the compassionate help of revered Master and the cooperation of practitioners as one body, we have successfully rescued 52 mainland practitioners in 36 cases of persecution. They have again joined the efforts of saving sentient beings. In carrying out these tasks, we have received help from practitioners around the world.
The following are some of the many true stories and experiences related to using the platform.
I. Successful Rescues Are a Result of Strong Cooperation as One Body
On August 3, 2010, the Minghui website published an article "Successful Cooperation" (see English version: http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2010/8/17/119308.html) in which it was stated that a police officer, who thought the illegal arrest was just a routine case, was wondering "How did the news spread overseas? The phone is ringing off the hook." The detained practitioners were so encouraged when they heard about this, and felt the power of their one body.
There was a case that took place a little after 3:00 p.m. Beijing time on July 19, 2010. Four practitioners in Liaoning Province were detained. Practitioners in Taiwan posted the message at just past 8:00 p.m. Beijing time. A practitioner in Thailand who had made phone calls for the entire day was first to see the "emergency rescue" message. She immediately coordinated with two practitioners in Korea and took turns calling officers at the police station. They told the officer with a calm yet firm voice, "Dafa practitioners have not violated any Chinese laws. You have to release them today unconditionally, otherwise we will continue making phone calls."
After two hours of continuous attempts to contact the police officers, one of the Korean practitioners finally again got through, and the other party replied, "We have released them. Don't call us anymore." To verify the officer's claim, the Thailand practitioner contacted practitioners in Taiwan who confirmed that practitioners in Liaoning Province indeed had safely returned home. By then it was just after 11:00 p.m. Beijing time. Tears of gratefulness came from practitioners in both Thailand and Korea. When we discussed this in our group, many practitioners were also moved to tears. Events like this are reminders of the constant caring of our Revered Master regardless of hardship. We cannot express our heartfelt gratitude with words.
On July 14, 2010 we learned that three practitioners would face trial on the afternoon of July 15. A practitioner in Thailand called the judge presiding over the case as well as the criminal tribunal. She told the judge, "The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) and people around the world are following the case. Righteous people all over the world are watching to see if you are going to sentence and punish innocent people. You are clearly aware that Falun Gong practitioners have not violated a single article in Chinese law. How are you going to view the order given to you that violates human morality? We will keep an eye on you to see whether you become an accomplice to the Chinese Communist regime or stay true to your conscience. This persecution is coming to an end. Throughout the CCP's history, accomplices have put their lives on the line helping the CCP to suppress innocent people, which has never had a good ending. Your signature on the case file sentencing an innocent Dafa practitioner will serve as evidence of the crime you have committed! I hope you wisely choose to be on the side of justice and conscience, and at this critical juncture in history, your name will be recorded as one that is on the right side."
The judge understood the practitioner's compassionate clarification, and on July 16, 2010, the Mingui website reported that all practitioners involved in this case had returned home. This is another successful case of Falun Dafa practitioners' cooperation on the telephone rescue platform.
II. Making Phone Calls that Are Wise and Provide a Chance for Redemption
We understand that it is not an easy job to make phone calls to the CCP judicial system which is directly responsible for the persecution. Many people will not even answer the phone, or will hang it up right away. Some even yell obscenities and make threats. It is not easy to persevere under such circumstances.
At first, after trying a couple of times we often gave up on the wicked and difficult people, with the hope that we could spend time covering more cases. Gradually we realized that to expand the coverage yet ignore the depth of our message was not right. With key personnel who were responsible for the persecution, we had to deliver a strong message early on in the phone call in order to shock the evil.
A practitioner in Korea would make several dozen calls when the recipient was a key member of the 610 Office or head of the Domestic Security Division, two of the primary organizations that carry out the persecution. She holds firm in the belief that the facts have to be presented thoroughly so that all the sentient beings that can be saved are saved, and those factors preventing them from being saved are eliminated completely with righteous thoughts.
Once when she was calling a 610 Office director, he did not answer the phone. She called several dozen times. When the director finally picked up the phone, he immediately started yelling obscenities. The practitioner did not get disturbed and started to clarify the facts. When the director hung up, she called again. When the call connected again, there was a loud noise. She calmed herself, and stated very clearly with strong righteous thoughts, "Do you know that Jiang Zemin proposed executing a group of 610 Office members in exchange for the withdrawal of the lawsuits filed against Jiang by overseas Falun Gong practitioners?" The noise immediately stopped and the director listened quietly for half an hour. While talking about quitting the CCP, the practitioner said firmly, "If you want to clear the crimes you have already committed, you have to quit the CCP on the Epoch Times website with your legal name. You must also do things that make up for the crimes you have committed so far. Otherwise, you will have no way out."
Our team members have reached a consensus to carry on the telephone rescue platform no matter how difficult the situation. We will hold righteous thoughts to completely disintegrate the evil of all key personnel in the primary organizations carrying out the persecution. We will not stop until all the evil is eliminated.
III. Overall Coordination with Effective Management
A Thailand practitioner played the founding role in establishing the rescue platform. She devoted each day to making phone calls, all of which received good results. Naturally, she became the platform coordinator. Everyone gives our coordinator solid support, and the coordinator approaches the rescue work with righteous thoughts and wisdom. She also spends time to exchange thoughts with platform team members and learns about the work each member is doing. Our cooperation has been extremely smooth under her coordination.
After Master published "Be More Diligent," the practitioners on the team made it clear that we will cooperate with our coordinator even more conscientiously. We will also complement each other's work and form a powerful one body, that will disintegrate the evil.
Platform management has remained on track. After a period of successful usage the coordinator has proposed a set of effective guidelines, including:
- New team members listen in while others make calls, and then participate in a question and answer session, which helps bring them up to speed.
- Focus on clarifying the facts and don't be attached to the number of people who quit the CCP.
- Organize brief truth clarification statements, relevant case documents, and pre-recorded materials.
- Optimize the workflow for case assignments and feedback mechanisms.
- Manage feedback data.
- Review recorded cases to be more effective in giving various types of responses.
- Enhance the breadth and depth of phone calls.
- Outline procedures to exchange experiences and keep up strong righteous thoughts.
- Assign practitioners to cases which best suit their individual strengths.
This series of management guidelines has proved effective in practice.
IV. Cultivating Ourselves in this Pure Platform Environment
The telephone rescue platform appears in our dimension as a form of groupware. However, in other dimensions, it is a pure and sacred palace, where each practitioner holds his or her position in the palace. Only when everyone has a pure heart can our overall platform release the most sacred energy. Meanwhile, the pure energy field will in turn melt us more deeply into the one body.
One practitioner in Korea previously harbored strong attachments to comfort and ease, and he often missed the 6:00 a.m. time for sending forth righteous thoughts. He was very worried, yet he was not able to correct the situation. After joining the rescue platform, he realized that while others were actively eliminating the evil and saving people, it was wrong for him to bring his own attachments of comfort and ease into the platform environment. It took him some effort as well as help from fellow practitioners to remove his attachment, but he is now able to get up much earlier to do the morning exercises. He shared with us that if it weren't for the platform's field of righteous thoughts, it would be much harder for him to discard his attachment to comfort and ease.
Another Korean practitioner shared that in the past she felt that clarifying the facts was just like doing a job. She now feels in her heart the urgency of saving sentient beings and suppressing the evil. She pours her heart into each phone call and describes the platform as giving her a "fresh start."
Most practitioners working on the platform also shoulder a variety of other tasks and responsibilities to validate the Fa in addition to their daily work schedule. No one ever complains, and they use the short break after arriving at home to make a few more phone calls. The rescue platform has been part of our lives and part of our cultivation, with everyone knowing what to do and fully devoted.
Practitioners have also felt the evil's extreme fear and weakness when receiving phone calls over the platform. With the compassionate benevolence and solemnity of cultivators of a righteous Fa, everyone on the team shoulders the mission of saving sentient beings. The phone calls act as swords that pierce through the last few dens occupied by the evil in China. We are full of righteous thoughts in saving sentient beings. We will not let go of the swords until the persecution ends.
When watching the interactive hot topics program on New Tang Dynasty Television, a non-practitioner caller said, "I hope that one day the Tianguo Marching Band will perform right in front of Tiananmen in Beijing."
I believe that day is not far from now. With the remaining precious time, we will cooperate with the purest hearts to save more sentient beings. When the Fa rectifies the human world, and when all Dafa disciples return to their positions, I hope all disciples can kneel in front of the Lord Buddha and say with good conscience, "Revered Master, your disciple has fulfilled the sacred vow that was signed with Revered Master."
