(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in four provinces. In this report, five practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 19 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Yanji Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province] Persecution of Mr. Meng Xianbin and Ms. Meng Dan
Officers from the Jiangong Police Station in Yanji City arrested Mr. Meng Xianbin and his daughter Meng Dan at their home, at around noon on July 20, 2010. The home was ransacked. Mr. Meng was released on July 21, but Ms. Meng is still being detained.

4. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Yanglin and Mr. Ma Baohua Arrested
On July 22, 2010, several officers from the Dajiagou Police Station in Dehui City arrested Mr. Wang Yangling and Mr. Ma Baohua from Laodajiagoutun Village, Dajiagou Township. The police confiscated a photo of the founder of Falun Gong, several Falun Dafa books, and a notebook computer. Mr. Wang's 78-year-old mother was left alone without anyone to care for her.
5. [Xinmin City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information about Two Arrested Practitioners
Ms. Zhang Hong and Ms. Wang from Matun Village, Gongzhutun Town, Xinmin City, went to Jiumen Village to clarify the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution on July 19, 2010. They were reported and arrested by the local police, and detained in the Zaohua District (Shenyang City) First Detention Center that same night.

6. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhu Xiuzhen Missing after Arrest
Ms. Zhu Xiuzhen, 52, and Ms. Wang Jinxiang went out to clarify the truth on July 1, 2010. They were reported by a villager and arrested by two officers from the Tumenling Police Station. The two women were handcuffed together and taken by Officer Dong Ping, to the Jiutai City Detention Center where they were detained.
The police called Ms. Zhu's husband and told him where his wife was being held. He took some clothes to the detention center the next day, but the officers there told him she was not there. He went again on July 9, 2010, when the authorities lied to him by saying that she would be released on July 10. On July 15, 2010, he learned that his wife was being detained at the Heizuizi Women's Prison in Changchun City, and she was not allowed to receive any clothing.
7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Qiu Lidong Arrested at His Home on July 22, 2010, by Tiexi District Police and Taken to Zhangshi Brainwashing Center
8. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhou Guiqiu and Ms. Yin Guifen Forcibly Taken to Brainwashing Center
Falun Gong practitioner Guan (gender unknown) held a wedding for his son on July 21, 2010. Shancheng Town Chief Lan Qinghong and officer Yu Tao arrested Ms. Zhou Guiqiu and Ms. Yin Guifen on the wedding day, and they were detained in a brainwashing center in Meihekou City.
9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xinzhao Arrested in Beijing
Ms. Li Xinzhao is from Shenyang City, but lives in Beijing with her daughter. They rented a home from practitioner Hou in Xicheng District. The police tried to arrest practitioner Hou several months ago, but failed. On July 19, 2010, officers came to the home and requested Hou's phone number, and Ms. Li's temporary residence permit. Ms. Li told them that she did not have one. She was arrested at the home at 10:00 a.m., and the police confiscated a large bag of Dafa related materials.
10. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhu Haishan and Mr. Yang Xin Arrested
Mr. Zhu Haishan and Mr. Yang Xin live in Chengfa Township, Yushu City, Changchun City. They were arrested by the police in Sihe Township. The police then ransacked their homes at around 5:00 p.m. on July 23, 2010. Mr. Zhu's home was locked and the police failed to gain entry.
11. [Tianjin] Mr. Song Zhishan Arrested and Sent to Brainwashing Center
Mr. Song Zhishan, approximately 67 years old, lives in Xi Village, Fengtai Town, Ninghe County, Tianjin City. Police officers and the village chief arrested him at his home at around 7:00 a.m. on July 23, 2010. He was taken to the Tianjin City Brainwashing Center.

12. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Helin Arrested and Sent to Brainwashing Center
Guided by Wang Yazheng, the Xituan Village security chief, officers from the Dongchengfang Station and the Zhuozhou City 610 Office arrested Mr. Wang Helin and his wife on the morning of July 5, 2010. Mr. Wang's wife was released, but he is still being detained at the Xiangyang Brainwashing Center.

13. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Wen and His Wife Luo Yuxia Sent to Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Li Wen and his wife Luo Yuxia live in Gaojia Village, Wutu Town, Changle County, Shandong Province. They were arrested at their rental home in Xiaobeizhuang Village, Yingqiu Town on May 28, 2010, and detained for one month. They were each sentenced to 18 months of forced labor. Mr. Li is being detained at the Zhangqiu Forced Labor Camp, while Ms. Luo Yuxia is being held at the Shandong Province Women's Forced Labor Camp.
14. [Jinxiang County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhou Sanxiang Arrested
Ms. Zhou Sanxiang lives in Weizhuang Village, Mincheng Town, Jinxiang County. She was arrested at her home by officers from the County Police Department and the 610 Office early on the morning of July 23, 2010. She was taken directly to the Jinan City Brainwashing Center.
Ms. Zhou was previously arrested right before the 2010 New Year. She was detained for 15 days and 1,000 yuan was extorted from her family before she was released.

15. [Xinji City, Hebei P{rovince] Two Practitioners Taken to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Daxiu (family name unknown) and Mr. Pang Xinshang both live in Tiangongying Township. Ms. Daxiu lives in Xilangyue Village, and Mr. Pang in Beilucai Village. They were arrested on the morning of July 21, 2010, and taken to the Hebei Province "Legal Education Training Center" (a brainwashing center) located in Shijiazhuang City.

16. [Beijing] Additional Information on the Arrest of Mr. Wang Falin
Mr. Wang Falin lives in Tongzhou District. Mr. Wang, his wife and his sister-in-law were arrested at his home by plainclothes officers at 6:30, on July 20, 2010. A computer, printer, and Falun Dafa books were confiscated. Mr. Wang's wife and sister-in-law were released the next day, but he is still being detained at the Tongzhou District Detention Center.
