People Help Falun Gong Practitioners Resist Persecution
(Clearwisdom.net) Many people in our area know the truth about Falun Gong. They have bravely and wisely helped protect practitioners from persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). By doing so, they have chosen a bright path for themselves and their families. The following stories happened in our area.
When asked by the headquarters to have a Falun Gong employee sign her statement in 2000, an assistant manager in a branch replied, "I will not do it because she causes no harm." Furthermore, the assistant manager even vouched for her without hesitation.
Leading up to the World Expo in 2010, the Chinese Communist Party planned to persecute Falun Gong practitioners and assigned a cadre to the town for this purpose. When asked to arrest one local practitioner along with two plainclothes officers, he was unwilling to do it. After trying to get rid of the two officers with no success, he said to them impatiently, "Why do you come with me if you trust me?" They subsequently left him alone. He then informed the practitioner to immediately leave home before the 610 Office team arrived.
One day in April 2010, many persons, including 610 Office agents, street officers, and local police, rushed to arrest Falun Gong practitioner Zhen Cheng (alias). After trying to clarifying the truth to them, Mr. Zhen ran out to the street. The police followed and tried to push him into a police car. Mr. Zhen refused and sat on the ground, exposing the persecution to the bystanders. He was then advised by two team leaders from his company to come back to his office. One of them negotiated with the 610 Office agents, "You can't take him away unless you take me along with him. I will make a personal guarantee." Those officers did not want to leave. Thirty of Mr. Zhen's co-workers protected him and argued that he could not be taken away without reason. Some young workers even circled around the persecutors. The negotiations continued until 11:00 a.m. And Mr. Zhen was finally released.
One day in May 2010, a local police officer told Falun Gong practitioner Tao Yuan (alias) to quickly remove all his stuff from his home. Mr. Tao followed the advice and immediately moved out all Falun Gong related materials. A group of people from the Municipal Public Security Bureau and police department arrived later and illegally raided his home. Of course, they found nothing and left dejectedly.
