(Clearwisdom.net) A barber shop in Dalian City, Liaoning Province has a booming business. The hairdresser Mr. Hong Fu (alias) arrives at work around 7 a.m. and works until after 8 p.m.. There are four other barber shops in the neighborhood, one of which went out of business a long time ago and the others have only a few customers. In contrast, Hong Fu's barber shop usually has a few customers inside and a few waiting outside.
Many Falun Gong practitioners patronize Hong Fu's shop and have talked to him about Falun Gong, given him the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, Falun Gong DVD's, Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs, and other Falun Gong materials. Practitioners told Hong Fu that those who defend Falun Gong and quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) would be rewarded with good fortune and happiness. He believed practitioners and quit the CCP and its associated organizations.
One day, a practitioner was getting his hair cut. When the practitioner was about to start talking to other customers about Falun Gong, Hong Fu pressed on the practitioner's head, hinting about eminent danger. Afterwards, Hong Fu told the practitioner that there was a plainclothes policeman in the room. He helped the practitioner and prevented a potential arrest and persecution.
One day in July this year, a practitioner had a haircut, found two Shen Yun DVD's in the shop and gave them to two customers, who were happy to take them. Hong Fu told the practitioner, "This morning when I came to work, I noticed every home had a Shen Yun performance DVD at their front door. Some threw it away. So I picked up some DVD's and saved them."
Hong Fu has watched the Shen Yun DVD and was impressed with the pure beauty and benevolence demonstrated by the artists. He knew that the performances were based on traditional Chinese culture and he planned to give the DVDs to his family and friends. The practitioner told him, "Cherishing Falun Gong material will bring good fortune and happiness to the person. It would even grant greater virtue to circulate to others."
Hong Fu believes what practitioners have told him, so he behaves virtuously, which has truly brought good fortune to him.
