[Qianjiang, Hubei Province] The Persecution of Mr. Hu Guoxing
On July 31, 2010, at around 10 a.m., Mr. Hu Guoxing was reported while he was clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. He was arrested by officers from the Gaosibei Police Station and was later transferred to the Public Security Department of the Jianghan Oil Field Public Enterprise. The official ordered Mr. Hu to write the three statements. They threatened that if he refused, they would immediately send him to a brainwashing center. His family also pressured him.

Mr. Zheng Decai is from Guangmingshan, Zhuanghe City, Dalian. He has been held in detention for over six months. In April 2010, the Public Security Bureau attempted to bring him to trial. They sent material to the Procuratorate, but it was returned due to lack of evidence. When his family went to the Public Security Bureau and demanded his release, guard Chen claimed, "We will provide evidence when there is lack of evidence." They attempted to falsely charge Mr. Zheng.

[Shenze County, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Junxin is Held in a Brainwashing Center
On August 6, 2010, Mr. Liu Junxin was arrested by a plainclothes police officer from the Shenze County Liuchu Township Police Station. Later he was transferred to the Shijiazhuang brainwashing center.

On July 22, 2010, Ms. Zhang Jinying was visiting a hospitalized relative. When she clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to a student, the student's father reported her to the police. She was arrested and her home was ransacked. They took her child's computer, a printer, and Dafa materials.

[Helongjiang Province] Mr. Ji Baoshan in Critical Condition in Hulan Prison
Mr. Ji Baoshan was brutally persecuted while in Hulan Prison. On July 27, 2010, the prison hospital notified his family, who had been demanding his release so he could seek medical care, that he was in critical condition. The prison authorities had used all sorts of excuses to drag out the time and even took away his visiting privileges. Mr. Ji was diagnosed with tuberculosis, liver hemangioma, enlarged bilateral lymph nodes in the neck, multiple pulmonary perforation, and severe anemia.

Ms. Gao Huijie was arrested on August 21, 2005, in Beijing. She was held in the Liaoning Women's Prison. She was deprived of sleep, had cold water poured on her in the winter, was brutally beaten, and was forced to do slave labor. Her lower body was damaged and required seven stitches. Her five-year sentence is due to end on August 21, 2010.

On June 17, 2010, several Falun Gong practitioners from the Nankai District of Tianjin City were arrested and their homes were ransacked. Several others were forced to leave their homes and became homeless. Ms. Meng Guanglan, Hu Liwen, and Chen Wenyan. came home in July. Ms. Song Yunling and maybe four others are still detained. Ms. Song Yunling refused to wear the prison uniform and the guards torn up her clothes. She began a hunger strike in protest and is now very weak.

[Tianjin] The Persecution of Mr. Jia Wenguang
On January 14, 2010, Mr. Jia Wenguang met someone who pretended to want to know the truth about Falun Dafa. He was actually a plainclothes officer, the deputy director of the Dajianglu Police Station in the Hebei District of Tianjin City, Tian Qing. Mr. Jia was arrested and was tried in April and sentenced to five years in prison on May 25, 2010. He refused to sign the documentation and appealed to the No. 1 Intermediate Court in Tianjin. On August 4, the court returned the case to the Hebei District Court. Mr. Jia is still being held in the Hebei District Detention Center.

[Baoding, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhu Lihua Persecuted in Hebei Women's Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Zhu Lihua was a staff member at the County Chinese Medicine Hospital. She was arrested on September 23. 2009, and transferred to the Hebei Women's Forced Labor Camp on September 26, 2009. She has been brutally persecuted and has become extremely weak. She developed numerous swollen lymph nodes and tumor-like hard nodules in her neck and head. She also has heart problems. Her family adamantly demanded medical treatment for Ms. Zhu. The authorities refused to tell her the results of her medical examination and only told them that she does not have leukemia.

Mr. Zhao Lianbin was arrested on June 2, 2010 by police from the Lincheng County Public Security Bureau. He was held in a brainwashing center in Xingtai. On June 7, 2010, the authorities confiscated a computer, printer, a DVD, and a burner. On July 5, 2010, Mr. Zhao was transferred to the Lincheng County Detention Center, where he was officially arrested.

[Hebei Province] The Current Situation of Ms. Liu Chongjiao, Wang Shuchun, Ms. Peng Xiumin, and Mr. Tian Shujun
On July 30, 2010, Ms. Liu Chongjiao, Wang Shuchun, Peng Xiumin, and Mr. Tian Shujun were arrested. Ms. Liu Chongjiao and Wang Shuchun were released. Ms. Peng Xiumin was transferred to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City. Mr. Tian Shujun was sentenced to one year in a labor camp and is currently being held in the Qinhuangdao Labor Correction facility.

[Laiyuan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Xiaoguo Arrested
On August 6, 2010, Ms. Li Xiaoguo and Liang Yujin went to Baishikou Village to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa and were reported by the Baishikou Village Party secretary, Zhang Shengli. The National Security Battalion leader, Zhang Fang, arrested them, raided their homes, and confiscated all of their Falun Gong materials. Liang Yujin was released that afternoon.

[Kaifeng, Henan Province] Ms. Lu Yuemei and Zhang Guiying Held Against Their will
On July 12, 2010, Ms. Lu Yuemei and Zhang Guiying from Weishi County, Kaifeng City, were arrested for sending out truth-clarification materials. They are being held in the Weishi County Detention Center. The police raided Ms. Zhang Guiying's home that night. Over the last 20 days both families requested to see them, but the authorities did not permit any visits. Instead, the authorities called the families and told them to hand over cash--over a thousand yuan--in order to see their loved ones.
