(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Sun Tienong and Mr. Xu Sheng were sentenced to prison terms of five years and four years respectively, by officials from Acheng Court in Harbin City on July 7, 2010. An officer from the Harbin City Intermediate Court was sent to Acheng Court to announce the decision. The trial was conducted in secret and the practitioners' families were not informed.
Mr. Sun is originally from Fangzheng County, Harbin City, and Mr. Xu is from Baicheng Village, Ashehe Township in Acheng City. Mr. Sun and Mr. Xu were arrested by officers from Shuangfeng Township Police Station at around 8:00 p.m. on January 24, 2010, while they were out posting truth clarification materials in Sanyang Village, Shuangfeng Township. They were taken to the Acheng District No. 2 Detention Center.
The two practitioners were transferred to Acheng District No. 1 Detention Center on February 8, 2010, and were due to be sent to Hulan Prison on August 4, 2010, which was later rescheduled for the morning of August 11, 2010.
