(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 21 cities or counties in 10 provinces. In this report, 14 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 22 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Hunchun City, Jilin Province] Information Regarding the Persecution of Practitioners in Chunhua Brainwashing Center of Hunchun City
Mr. Yu Dengkui and Ms. Wang Xiaomin are both employees of Chunhua Forestry Center. They were detained by the Chunhua Forestry Center Brainwashing Center on May 20, 2010. They were not allowed to go home. They were forced to renounce the practice and were threatened with losing their jobs and being sent to a forced labor camp. They were also indoctrinated by people who had "enlightened" along an evil path with evil theories. Several employees including An Jianwu, Yao Jiping and Liu Zhishun were arranged to monitor them.

2. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Personnel from Kaiyuan Town Government Ransack Practitioners' Home
More than a dozen personnel from Kaiyuan Town government, led by Shang Kechong, broke into the homes of Ms. He Yonglian, Ms. Lu Zhiying and Ms. Xue Huiqin at around 3:30 p.m. on July 27, 2010. The personnel searched practitioners' homes without showing any ID. Ms. He wasn't at home but they still broke in. They confiscated Dafa books and damaged a locked drawer.
3. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Gaizhen Detained Again
Officers from the Domestic Security Division, Downtown Division of the Datong City Police Department arrested Ms. Wang Gaizhen at her work at Datong City Bureau of Mines No. 3 Hospital at around 9:00 a.m. on July 26, 2010. Ms. Wang was taken to the Downtown Division. The police broke into Ms. Wang's home and confiscated a computer, three printers, CD/DVD burner, printing paper and other personal belongings. Ms. Wang is being held at the Datong City Chenzhuang Detention Center.
It is Ms. Wang's third time being arrested. Ms. Wang was sentenced to three years of forced labor in November 2000. She was arrested again with about twenty other practitioners in November 2006.
4. [Chongqing] Ms. Wang Shibi Detained
Ms. Wang Shibi, 60, was arrested on July 20. She is being held at the Baihelin Detention Center.
5. [Xingtai County, Hebei Province] Mr. Hai Xiang Arrested
Six police officers led by Zhang Yinzhao broke into Mr. Hai Xiang's home in Huining Village, Xingtai County at around 2:00 p.m. On July 27, 2010. They confiscated a copy machine and other materials. Mr. Hai's whereabouts are unknown.
6. [Huizhou City, Guangzhou Province] Ms. Fan Zhijun in Critical Condition in Guangzhou Women's Prison
Ms. Fan Zhijun, a gynecologist from Huizhou City Railroad Hospital, was sentenced to eight years of prison in 2005. She has been held in Guanzhou Women's Prison since then. She is now in critical condition as a result of persecution. She cannot walk or care for herself. Her blood pressure exceeds 220 mmHg.
7. [Beijing] Mr. Zhou Ruixin Forced to Leave Home
Mr. Zhou Ruixin, 65, lives in Dashiwo Town, Fangshan District. He was followed and arrested during a a bus ride on July 27. Mr. Zhou was able to escape. His home has been ransacked and he has been arrested five times since he came back home from the forced labor camp in November 2001.
Mr. Zhou was a teacher and his pension has been suspended for eight and a half years for practicing Falun Gong. His wife, Ms. Guan Xuexian, lost her eyesight during the period when she was forced to leave home in 2007.

Ms. Sun Liju, an employee of Yankuang Group Company Limited, was arrested while speaking with people about Falun Gong.

10. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Zongfeng Sent to Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Wang Zongfeng, lives in Dongli District, was arrested by officers from the Wanxin Village Police Station while speaking with people about Falun Gong on May 23. She had been detained in the Dongli Detention Center. She was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor by the Dongli Police Station 610 Office. Ms. Wang was sent to the Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp.
11. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yi Ying Arrested
Ms. Yi Ying was arrested by officers from the Ronghua Police Station while handling out leaflets about Falun Gong near the Zhenli Middle School in Rongcheng District around 8:00 a.m. on July 24. Ms. Yi's home was ransacked in the evening. She is now being held at the Ronghua Police Station.

12. [GaoYang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Jinying Arrested
Ms. Li Jinying, 47, lives in Xinliuzuo Village, was arrested while giving out flyers about Falun Gong on the evening of July 23. She is being held at the Liucun Detention Center in Anxin County. Her family went to visit her the next day and was denied visitation. The guard agreed to give her the clothing and other necessities they brought.
13. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Sent to Brainwashing Facility
The Meihekou City Political and Judiciary Committee has a brainwashing facility in Meihekou City Military and Political Hotel. Six practitioners were detained in the hotel including Ms. Wang Mingjuan, Mr. Guo Haibo, Mr. Pu Aijun and Mr. Jin Jingfang from Hongmei Town, Ms. Zhou Guiqiu and Ms. Yi Guifen from Shancheng Town. Ms. Yi Guifen was able to escape. Another practitioner from Meihekou City was also detained in the hotel for brainwashing.
14. [Puding County, Guizhou Province] Ms. Fan Ming Forced to Leave Home
About 20 police officers from the Puding County 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division broke into the home of Ms. Fan Ming on Tashan Street on June 25. Ms. Fan escaped afterward and has not come back home. The police left after circling her home for two hours.

Ms. Yu Kun started a hunger strike to protest the persecution in Wuhan City Women's Labor Camp several days ago. She was transferred elsewhere suddenly and her whereabouts is unknown.
17. [Shanghai] Mr. Guo Jinfu Arrested
Mr. Guo, lives in Jiuting Town, Songjiang District, was arrested by more than ten police officers. Mr. Guo's hands and legs were chained. He is being held at the Minghang District Detention Center.
Mr. Guo was previously arrested twice. He was sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor in 2002. He was sentenced to three years of forced labor in 2006.

19. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Lifeng and Ms. Zhang Bin Arrested
Ms. Zhang Lifeng and her daughter Ms. Zhang Bin were reported when they were posting information about Falun Gong near the Jianhua Factory. They were both arrested by officers from the Beida Street Police Station.

20. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Sun Huaisen on Hunger Strike for a Month at Wangcun Detention Center and Is Being Force-Fed
21. [Zhuolu County, Hebei Province] Mr. Cui Lu Held at Jidong Prison
Mr. Cui Lu, from Zhuolu County, was arrested at work on March 19, 2009. He was secretly tried by the Zhangjiakou City Intermediate Court and sentenced to nine years of prison without any proof in August 2009. He is being held at the Jidong Prison No. 1 District in Tangshan City. He went on a hunger strike for more than a month and is very weak. The prison guards force-fed him.
22. [Nanyang County, Henan Province] Mr. Zhao Encheng Arrested in Shenzhen
Mr. Zhao Encheng was arrested by plainclothes police officers from Henan Province on July 19. They confiscated a computer and more than 20,000 yuan in cash.
23. [Huangchuan County, Henan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Ding Zerong, lives in the Dupudian Village, Jiangji District, Huangchuan County, was arrested by several police officers led by Chen Lin, head of Huangchuan County Domestic Security Division on the morning of June 25, 2010. Mr. Ding's home was ransacked.
Mr. Ding's daughter and sister requested his release on July 22. They didn't release Mr. Ding but threw both the sister and daughter into the prison.

24. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Additional Information Regarding the Persecution of Ms. Ma Deru
Ms. Ma Deru, 64, was arrested by officers from the Tiananmen Square Police Station when she was appealing for Falun Gong in February 2000. She was sent to the local detention center and released after 15 days.
Ms. Ma went to see her son and daughter-in-law, they were forced to leave home in June 2001. Ms. Ma was handcuffed to a metal bed. She was able to take off the handcuffs and escape the arrest. She went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in August 2001. She was held in a detention center in Beijing, and was released after one month of detention.
Ms. Ma was arrested by officers from the Economic Development District 610 Office and Chengdong Police Station on September 8, 2001. She was detained at the Daguang Detention Center for ten days, and later transferred to the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp. She was released on September 18, 2002.
