(Clearwisdom.net) Teacher wants us to do thethree things well. Clarifying the truth is a very important part of the three things because it deters evil forces from persecuting Dafa practitioners and plays the role of saving sentient beings.
We all know that clarifying the truth has two major aspects: one is to expose the vicious crimes against Dafa practitioners, and the other is to tell people what Falun Dafa is and the goodness of Dafa. Exposing the evil lets people see clearly the unscrupulous nature of the CCP and the reason it persecutes Falun Gong. When we more comprehensively and profoundly expose the evil, the people will see it for what it truly is. In contrast, people will see the greatness of Dafa and know that Dafa disciples are good people.
In the eleven years of opposing the persecution, exposing the evil has been a very important effort. It is an indispensable part of Fa-rectification. If we sidestep this effort, we will have everlasting regret in the future.
Teacher emphasizes the importance of clarifying the truth. Teacher wants all the Dafa practitioners in China, new and veteran, to do well in this. Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Fa Conference:"
"So, as Dafa disciples, you have been bestowed with a great, historic mission. This is different, then, from strictly personal cultivation. You need to safeguard the Fa, you need to validate the Fa, and when the Fa is persecuted you expose the evil and do better embodying Dafa--this is what you should do."
Exposing the evil is set in the Fa and is part of the process of assimilating the Fa and ascending towards consummation. How can we reach consummation if we do not expose the evil persecution, are not responsible to the Fa and all living things, and still have fear? When evil persecutes us, we should expose them. We are doing things based on the Fa and are in accordance with the requirements of the Fa-rectification. This is the most righteous thing in the universe. What are we afraid of? Only the evil should be afraid, because it will be exposed for what it is.
This persecution has continued for eleven years and is nearing the end. But there are still so many fellow practitioners who do dare not to expose the persecution, are still holding onto the human mindset, and have fear. They muddle along and cannot seriously regard this requirement of cultivation.
There are still a number of labor camps and prisons persecuting Dafa practitioners cruelly. Their means are shocking and outrageous. Steadfast practitioners who refuse to compromise are bearing inhuman torture. Over the years, many practitioners who had been illegally sentenced and sent to serve forced labor are infected with the mentality of "once bitten, twice shy." They dare not to expose the evil due to their fear of being persecuted again. Therefore, some labor camps and prisons continue to do evil things, as they believe that very few people outside the camp or the prison know about their crimes, and they become even more unscrupulous.
More than 40 practitioners from our relatively small region have been imprisoned or confined to forced labor camps. A dozen of them were sentenced to four to six years in prison. Many practitioners have suffered serious persecution, but only one so far has dared to expose the persecution through the Minghui website. Why not more? I hope fellow practitioners will be responsible for their own practice, get rid of their fear, and expose the persecution that they themselves have gone through.
If each fellow practitioner promptly shared their experience and exposed the criminal acts of the evil after being released from labor camps or prisons, perhaps the environments of those places would have changed long ago.
When a fellow practitioner asked another to expose the evil persecution that she suffered after being released from labor camp, she claimed that she hadn't suffered any physical torture, and thus, it shouldn't be considered persecution.
As a practitioner, isn't one moving toward consummation and trying to transcend this human world? The evil in prisons and labor camps force one to give up one's practice, separate one from Dafa, and force one to write the so-called "three statements" and "articles to criticize Falun Dafa," and say slanderous things about Teacher and Dafa. In order to avoid physical pain, one compromises oneself. Instead of walking on the righteous path, one betrays Teacher and betrays one's conscience, going astray from the cultivation path. How could one claim it wasn't persecution when one was forced to do more than ten hours of labor each day and was deprived of freedom? How can one say this isn't persecution? Shouldn't one expose them to wipe away the disgrace and make up for one's shortcomings in cultivation?
In fact, exposing the evil can protect the safety of those who have been persecuted. If practitioners are afraid for their personal safety, they can use aliases, write as third party witnesses, or relate their experiences to others to write for them. No matter how it is done, these experiences and details listing the names of the persecutors and the crimes they are guilty of should be recorded and published on the Minghui website. As long as fellow practitioners are righteous in their minds, what can one be afraid of?
In fact, exposing the evil persecution is being responsible for one's own practice. During the last stage of Fa-rectification, I hope practitioners will take seriously the responsibility of exposing the evil. Let us acquire more mighty virtue by exposing the evil and save more sentient beings.
