So every time I opened a bottle, I would look inside the cap to see if I had "won" and could get a free drink. It never occurred to me that this kind of behavior was not in accordance with the requirements of the Fa since it was only for another bottle of refreshment that did not cost much. I thought it was not a big deal.
Recently, as I listened to Teacher's lecture citing the example of a practitioner's child who won a bicycle, I suddenly realized that the thought of winning a prize is incorrect. Although it is not a lot of money, it shows that there is something wrong with my xinxing. Isn't this an attachment to personal benefit? Although this attachment looks small, it is actually very serious. If you don't pay attention to it, it will expand, bit by bit. I understood that I must get rid of this attachment.
Yesterday my younger brother bought some snacks and two sodas for his child. The child took one bottle, opened the cap, and saw inside it the words "Get Another Bottle." The child told me, "Uncle, let's go and get a free drink." I took the bottle and, indeed, the words "Get Another Bottle" were written on it. Immediately I understood what had happened. I told the child, "As practitioners we don't covet such petty advantages. Throw it away." The child did not say anything.
When I looked at the words on the cap again and casually threw it into the bin, my heart felt so light and unperturbed. It is Dafa that constantly cleanses my heart that is dirtied by my postnatal notions. No matter how deep and hidden these impurities are, Dafa will expose and cleanse them.
My heart is full of joy, and I thank Master for his guidance Once again, I feel inexpressibly fortunate and proud to be a Dafa disciple during the Fa rectification period.
