(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 24 cities or counties in 15 provinces. In this report, 17 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 18 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Tianjin] Ms. Fu Shaojun Tortured at Banqiao Labor Camp
Ms. Fu Shaojun, from Hexi District, Tianjin, was arrested by officers from the Xiawafang Police Station, Hexi District, Tianjin in October, 2009. She was sentenced to three years of forced labor. She is being tortured at the Banqiao Labor Camp, Tianjin. She has not had any food or drink for ten days.
2. [Tumen City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Shunji and Three Other Practitioners Go on Hunger Strike
Four practitioners including Ms. Li Shunji, Ms. Tao Xiulan, Ms. Tao Xiuzhi and Ms. Chi Shuqin, were arrested by police officers from the Xinhua Station, Tumen City. It has been over ten days since their arrest. Their family members went to the Anshan Detention Center many times, where the practitioners were held, but their requests for visitation was rejected. Four practitioners have gone on hunger strikes for many days.

3 [Putian City, Fujian Province] Mr. Zhan Guolin Sentenced
Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhan Guolin, from Chengxiang District, Putian City, in his seventies, was sentenced to prison previously. In 2004, he was sentenced to forced labor.
4. [Yanggu County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Bin Arrested and Held at Xihu Detention Center
Mr. Wang Bin, from Yanggu County, was arrested when he was talking to people about Falun Gong at Dizhuang Village on the afternoon of June 18, 2010. Now he is being held at the Xihu Detention Center and was sentenced to 15 days of detention.
5. [Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
At approximately 8:00 a.m, on June 26, 2010, three practitioners were arrested by officers from the Hongqi Police Station near No 204 Transshipment Station, Qitaihe City. At the police station, these practitioners refused to tell their names and addresses. One practitioner was clarifying the truth to the director, who kicked the practitioner in the chest. Another practitioner developed a severe illness and was taken to a hospital by a police officer. He was in critical condition. Police officers left the practitioner in order to escape being held responsible for his condition. The practitioner is now back home.
On the afternoon of June 27, 2010, two practitioners were taken to the detention center. On the night of June 29, 2010, one practitioner developed a severe illness and was allowed to return home. At present, one practitioner is being held at a detention center.

6. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Chuanlan Arrested at Home at 11:00 a.m. on June 29, 2010
7. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hu Miaomiao Sentenced to Forced Labor
On June 15, 2010, Ms. Hu Miaomiao was reported by a driver when she was clarifying the truth. She was arrested by officers from the Huai'an County Police Department and was detained at the Zhangjiakou City Detention Center. On June 26, 2010, she was taken to the Zhangjiakou City Labor Camp and was sentenced to one year of forced labor. She is now being held at the Shijiazhuang City Women's Labor Camp.
8. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Mr. Yan Guisheng Arrested
Mr. Yan Guisheng, from Kunming City, 38 years old, was arrested by officers from the Yueyatang Police Station on June 24, 2010. Now he is held at the Wuhua Detention Center.
9. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xu Lina and Ms. Liao Arrested
Ms. Xu Lina, from Bingcun Town, in her forties, was arrested on June 28, 2010. Her computer, a printer and approximately 4000 yuan in cash were taken away.
Ms. Liao, in her sixties, from Bingcun Town, Mei County, Meizhou City, was arrested from her apartment at Keji Road, Mei County. At noon on the same day, she was sent back home. Officers took away at least two boxes of items from her home.
10. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Min Arrested While Working at Supermarket and Taken to Xiaoguangchun Brainwashing Center, Shahezi on June 29, 2010
11. [Congzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liang Shifeng Arrested

Ms. Fan Guilan from Gaosheng Town, Panshan County were arrested by officers from the Panshan County Police Department and Gaosheng Town Police Department, and was taken to Panshan County. Her whereabouts are unknown.
13. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Mr. Dong Shuangsuo Arrested
At 5:00 a.m. on June 29, 2010, a group of police officers, headed by Lu Dakan, dragged Mr. Dong Shuangsuo to a vehicle. He was taken to Tiangongying Township. At 12:00 p.m., he was taken to Shijiazhuang City, where he was presumably sent for brainwashing.

14. [Huili County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Luo Liuxiang Sentenced to One Year and Three Months
Mr. Luo Liuxiang, from No. 4 Group, Yunhe, Yundian Township, Yimen Town, Huili County, was arrested by the Domestic Security Division on May 18, 2010. He was taken to the Huili County Detention Center and held there for a month. He was sentenced to one year and three months. On May 31, 2010, Yuan Yong, from Yundian Police Station, arrested Mr. Luo Liufu at his home. He is Mr. Luo Liuxiang's brother and is not a practitioner
15. [Duyun City, Guizhou Province] Mr. Luo Chanhua Arrested
On June 14, 2010, Mr. Luo Chanhua, from Bangshui Village, Gantang Town, Duyun City, went to a town to look for work. He was arrested by police offerers and falsely accused of stealing a motorcycle. Mr. Luo was once sentenced to three years of forced labor because he practiced Falun Gong.
16. [Chongqing City] Ms. Feng Ping Arrested
At 8:30 a.m. on June 30, 2010, Ms. Feng Ping, a staff member of the Employee Hospital of Changshou Chemical Co. in Changshou District, Chongqing, was arrested while she was working. She is being held at the Chongqing Brainwashing Center.

17. [Henan Province] Brainwashing Center Organized Again at Xuchang City Party School
In June 2010, the Xuchang City 610 Office held a brainwashing session at the Shuchang City Party School. They arrested local Falun Gong practitioners and forcefully brainwashed them. Practitioners were forced to write "guarantee statements" to give up Falun Gong. Mr. Feng Jianhua and Ms. Song Fenglian were taken to the Shibalihe Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City for a year and then taken to a brainwashing center.

19. [Haiyang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qi Mingsheng Tortured Before She Died
Ms. Qi Mingying from Beicaiyuan Village, Haiyang City, in her fifties, was forced to leave her home to avoid being arrested in 2000. In 2001, commanded by Xu Zhensuo, director of the 610 Office in Haiyang City, police officers arrested Ms. Qi and took her to the Militia Training Center. She could not tolerate the torture that she suffered, so she jumped from the second floor and broke her leg. She was still wearing handcuffs and shackles while undergoing surgery to treat her injuries at the Haiyang People's Hospital. While she stayed at the hospital and also upon returning home for recovery, police officers from the 610 office continuously locked her arms and legs to a bed to limit her movement. Later Yu Zhenggao from 610 office continued to harass her. After many years of torment, she passed away on June 17, 2010.

21. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Chen Yinru to Be Tried at 1:00 p.m. on July 7, 2010 at Huqiu District Court
22. [Nanchang City, Jiangsi Province] Ms. Chen Dongmei Arrested
At 2:30 p.m. on June 30, 2010, Ms. Chen Dongmei, who lives near Jubao Street, Nanchang City, studied the Falun Gong teachings with another practitioner at her home. Officers from the Domestic Security Division, Nanchang City and Qingshanghu Police Department, stormed into the home and ransacked it. The home was left in shambles, and Ms. Chen was arrested and taken away.
23. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Mr. Ma Shaojie Arrested by Officers from Domestic Security Division at 11:00 a.m. On June 29 2010
24. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Dejun Released and Monitored
Mr. Li Dejun, previously a director of the Hongqi Court, Dalian City, was released and returned home from a labor camp on June 22, 2010. He is still under residential surveillance. Every day, two officers from a police station are watching him from nearby.
25. [Beijing] Ms. Song Meiying Held at No. 4 Ward, Beijing Women's Labor Camp
26. [Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liang Shifeng Arrested
At 9:00 a.m. on June 30, 2010, Ms. Liang Shifeng went to a market to distribute truth-clarifying materials at Yangma Town, Chongzhou City. She was arrested and taken to the Yangma Police Station. After 2:00 p.m., she was released after police forced her husband to sign a document.
27. [Li County, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Mingxiu and Ms. Zhou Zelan Arrested
On the morning of June 30, 2010, Mr. Li Mingxiu and Ms. Zhou Zelan went to clarify the truth at each residential home in Xiaodukou, Li County. After they were reported, officers from the Xiaodukou Police Station arrested them.
