(Clearwisdom.net) I am a young practitioner working for a Chinese government institution. I have practiced Falun Gong for about a year.
My parents began practicing Falun Gong in 1997 when I was still at high school. I read Zhuan Falun only once during my school holidays. Immediately after I finished reading it I vomited and had diarrhea, and I knew Teacher was adjusting my body. I later went to a park with my parents to do the exercises, but for only a few days. Since I couldn't bear any hardship, I missed the opportunity to learn Falun Dafa. Now, whenever I think about it, I feel great regret. When the persecution of Falun Gong began, my family stopped cultivating in Falun Gong due to fear, but we anticipated that Falun Gong would be redressed one day.
Fellow Practitioners Instrumental in our Practicing Falun Dafa Again
I feared hardship and could barely stand the pain when doing the exercises. With encouragement from my mother and fellow practitioners, I learned exercises one through four. When I was doing the second exercise, The Falun Standing Stance, I could hear a snapping sound from my frozen shoulder. It was difficult for me to raise my arms, and while holding the wheel, my arms shook. However, I kept going. In the past when I had problems with my shoulder, it took several months before it passed. At night, I didn't know where to put my arms because of the acute pain. I would usually wake up a few times from the pain and I had to change position to get any relief. A miracle happened that night. The pain in my shoulder simply disappeared and I slept well. I no longer had that problem.
Embarking on the Path of Dafa Cultivation
I know now the great fortune of becoming Teacher Li Hongzhi's disciple. If I want to fulfill my mission to reach consummation, I should not only cultivate myself well but also save people.
One day I clarified the facts about Falun Gong to one of my classmates at a wedding. My classmate and her husband are police officers. From a third person perspective, I told her how Falun Dafa has been embraced around the world and how Indian students and teachers practice Falun Gong together. She was quite shocked. I asked her to tell her husband not to get involved in persecuting Falun Gong. I told her that Falun Gong would definitely be redressed in the future and all those who took part in the persecution would face difficulties. She couldn't have agreed more. That day we sat under a loudspeaker and it was very difficult to talk. I thought it would be great if the loudspeaker volume was lowered. I didn't think of using any supernormal abilities, but the loudspeaker above our heads suddenly went dead. After I finished talking, the loudspeaker suddenly began working again.
I remembered what a fellow practitioner said during his sharing, that everyone we meet or who smiles at us is predestined to meet us. The percentage of those that then quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its subordinate organizations is consequently very high. My personal experience proved that.
Sometimes, if people know that I work in a government institution, I say, "I work in a government institution, so I know some inside information. Many of the statistics that are published are falsified. If what the television news says is true, that the people's happiness index is on the increase, then why do so many people appeal in front of the government institutions? Take Falun Gong, for example. The TV said it is a cult. However, when we went to Hong Kong, we found that people there are free to practice it. In India, students and teachers practice Falun Gong together. Jiang Zemin initiated the persecution of Falun Gong because he was jealous about the number of people practicing it. Many innocent people have been murdered as a result, and he is wanted by the Argentine International Tribunal. This has become a topic discussed worldwide. The people in China haven't been allowed to know the true story. They've only heard that the foreign ministry said at a press conference that China hoped that Argentina wouldn't risk damaging bilateral relations by pursuing this matter. This might lead the Chinese people to think that the Argentine government is hostile toward China, but the government officials all knew the facts and only the people were kept in the dark." My sharing dispelled bad thoughts about Falun Dafa.
Now when I use public transportation, I buy a ticket for people who can't afford it, then I tell them about Falun Gong. When people give me too much change during a shopping transaction, I return the extra money and tell them that I practice Falun Gong. While clarifying the truth to save people, I often tell them that I work at a government institution and that Dafa is righteous and has been slandered. The wicked Chinese Communist regime appears upright and honest, but, in essence, it is very corrupt. Behind the false propaganda is another situation.
Because of the short period of time I have cultivated, please point out anything that is not upright and righteous.
